Chicago Bears at New York Giants 2010 NFL Predictions, Odds, and Picks Week 4

Chicago Bears at New York Giants 2010 NFL Predictions, Odds, and Picks Week 4:  Head football coach Lovie Smith has his Chicago Bears at 3-0 heading into tonight’s game at the New 1.7 billion Meadowlands Stadium against the New York Football Giants at 8:20 PM ET on NBC’s Football Night in America.  This is a tale of two teams going in different directions, da Bears were a turnover machine last year and now under the direction of offensive coordinator Mike Martz quarterback Jay Cutler is having a pro bowl start to the season.  Quarterback of the Giants Eli Manning on the other hand has 6 interceptions tied with Favre for most in the lead and the 10 turnovers the Giants have had in total leaves them second in that dubious category.  “You can’t make the errors,” Coach Tom Coughlin said. “You cannot be careless with the football. You’re not going to win at this level.” The odds makers at BetUS have the New York Giants -3 point favorites at home against the Chicago Bears.

The Chicago Bears won a black and blue matchup at home against the Green Bay Packers 20-17 leaving them undefeated on the season for the first time since the Super Bowl Champion 1985 bears.  Quarterback Jay Culter completed 16 of 27 passes for 221 yards and a touchdown while rushing 3 times for 37 additional yards.  “It’s just different,” Cutler said. “Mike is a quarterback-friendly offensive coordinator. He’s going to give quarterbacks answers for each play. There is no gray area, and whenever you see a certain coverage, you know where the ball is supposed to go.”  Martz has certainly revived Cutler and the Giants will have a difficult time defending the new and improved version.  Vegas odds makers have the Chicago Bears as +1000 odds to win the 2011 Super Bowl.

The New York Giants are in turmoil again reminiscent of their Super Bowl winning season not too long ago as they lost 29-10 at home to the Tennessee Titans last weekend.   Quarterback Eli Manning was 34 for 48 for 386 yards but had no touchdowns and 2 picks.  NY Giants are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games at home and the total has gone OVER in 8 of the NY Giants last 10 games when playing Chicago.  Vegas odds makers have the over/under for the total score at 44 points combined of the Chicago Bears and New York Giants.

I predict a Giants win and cover at home. Note: Rich Fritz is a Blog Writer on NSAwins.com and not a pro handicapper. For expert NFL Football Predictions against the vegas spreads please visit the NSAwins.com homepage for top predictions today from the National Sports Advisors.
