Our NFL Power Rankings has a new #1 and some teams are moving up or down based on their play thus far. One thing is clear after 2 weeks however, there are no dominant teams that threaten to run and hide from the pack. Don’t get me wrong, there are plenty of excellent teams, but they all have flaws and can be beaten on any given Sunday. Teams will need to stay healthy and continue to improve every week to be left standing at the end.

HEAVYWEIGHT DIVISION
#1 Giants 2-0 (2) – This team has more answers than any other team at this point in the season.
#2 Ravens 2-0(5) – Good quality win on the road, offense is now capable of winning on their own. Not sure if defense is as good as last year though.
#3 Steelers 1-1(1) Knocked off the #1 perch by Da Bears. Can’t wait for the 1st game against the Ravens….
#4 Colts 2-0(7) Defense got its’ ass kicked on the ground by Miami, but Peyton is a great deodorizer.
#5 Saints 2-0(11) NFC’s version of the Colts, and can we please settle down on Brees being the best QB? Let’s wait to see how he does in playoffs.
#6 Falcons 2-0(9) Big test this week on the road against a Pats team looking to rebound.
#7 Chargers 1-1(3) Starting to worry about their defense and injuries already.
#8 Patriots 1-1(4) Could easily be 0-2, but its early and somehow, someway Hoodie and Brady will make the necessary adjustments.
#9 Vikings 2-0(10) AP is fantastic, but with the over-rated stiff at QB and the Bald guy on the sideline, this season will end badly, trust me…
#10 Jets 2-0(15) They caught Pats at right time, props to them for backing up their smack but all they did is hold serve. Long season Jets fans…
#11 Eagles 1-1(6) Not going to be pretty until McNabb is back. What is the defense’s excuse for getting lit up by New Orleans?
#12 Titans 0-2(8) How do you lose your home opener to the Texans? Better take your skirts off against the Jets, or you’ll be golfing early this yr.
MIDDLEWEIGHT DIVISION
#13 49ers 2-0(20) Not sure if they are good, or their opponents stink. I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt for now.
#14 Cardinals 1-1(14) Good win east of the Mississippi, but the defending NFC champs should beat a lousy Jacksonville team, shouldn’t they?
#15 Bills 1-1(17) Good bounce back game from the debacle in Foxboro. Took care of business against a declining Bucs squad.
#16 Packers 1-1(13) They’d better get O-line fixed before Rodgers is hospitalized.
#17 Bears 1-1(21) Quality win against the Steelers, and Chicken Cutlet played okay in this game, but let’s not put him in Canton quite yet.
#18 Cowboys 1-1(16) A few more gag jobs like Sunday night and this team will implode. Sorry, but this team is going nowhere with Romo & Phillips.
#19 Seahawks 1-1 (12) No Hasselbeck, no playoffs for these guys. Defense was disappointing too, can’t stop Gore, can’t beat SF.
#20 Texans 1-1(24) Great win in Nashville, but I’m still not sold on this team and will need to see more than one upset to convince me.
#21 Broncos 2-0(26) Let’s not fool ourselves, this is not a juggernaut and should be 1-1. But, good start to McDaniels tenure…
#22 Bengals 1-1(27) Somebody forgot to tell them the season started 2 weeks ago, but at least now they’re playing. Good win in Lambeau….
LIGHTWEIGHT DIVISION
#23 Dolphins 0-2(18) Had ball for 45 min to Indy’s 15, defense didn’t get the memo that you’re supposed to stop them once or twice in that time.
#24 Redskins 1-1(23) Is there a more boring team than this one? What a snooze fest against the Rams….
#25 Raiders 1-1(25) Good thing they beat KC or Tom Cable might have sucker punched another assistant coach.
#26 Panthers 0-2(22) Jake didn’t give the game away last week, but the defense filled in for him… Not getting easier as they go to Dallas this week.
#27 Jaguars 0-2(19) Is there a team with less buzz in the NFL? Even their own fans can’t watch them… lead the league in blackouts though….
#28 Bucs 0-2(28) Amateur hour in Tampa continues….
#29 Browns 0-2(29) Mangina is the “water-bottle” Gestapo for the hotels now… what a tool….
#30 Chiefs 0-2(30) Probably worth tuning into to watch Haley blow a gasket after every bad play. He seems like a bigger A-hole than Mangina…
#31 Rams 0-2(31) Fighting hard for this last spot in the rankings, almost there boys…
