New York Giants at Dallas Cowboys 2010 NFL Predictions, Odds, and Picks Week 7

New York Giants at Dallas Cowboys 2010 NFL Predictions, Odds, and Picks Week 7:  The red hot New York Football Giants travel to play head football coach Wade Phillips on the hot seat and his beleaguered Dallas Cowboys at owner Jerry Jones billion dollar Cowboy Stadium on Monday Night Football at 8:30 PM ET on ESPN.  The Giants come in at 4-2 leading the NFC East while the Cowboys are 1-4 and in last place in the NFC East.  Jones insists the coach Phillips is the right guy for the job “right now” but that usually ends with an abrupt fire soon.  Soon could be after a loss to the Giants on Monday night.  “I believe in these guys, I believe in the coaching staff, I believe in Wade Phillips,” Jones said. “I believe we can turn things around. While the odds are against us, we can make all the things happen that we wanted to do this year.”  “He knows, like we all know, that we had high expectations and we haven’t reached that, but we still have a chance,” Phillips said. “The season is not over, and we’re looking forward to this ballgame.”  The odds makers at BetUS have the Dallas Cowboys -3 point favorites at home against the New York Giants.

The Cowboys are coming off a loss at Minnesota 24-20 where they outgained the Vikings 314 to 188 but had 2 picks that gave the Vikes 10 points, a 95 yard kickoff return that gave up another 7 and a host of penalties that cost themselves points.  Dallas is 3rd in the league in offensive yardage and fourth in defensive yards allowed but leads in penalties with 62.  Quarterback Tony Romo completed 24 of 32 passes for 220 yards and 3 touchdowns but also threw 2 picks.  The total has gone UNDER in 11 of Dallas’s last 16 games when playing at home against NY Giants.  Vegas odds makers have the over/under for the total score at 44 1/2 points combined of the New York Giants and Dallas Cowboys.

The Giants were a 28-20 winner over the Lions at home last weekend.  Quarterback Eli Manning completed 20 of 30 passes for 177 yards and 2 touchdowns connecting with Steve Smith 6 times for 70 yards.  Ahmad Bradshaw ran the ball 19 times for 133 yards while Brandon Jacobs carried 9 times for 35 yards and 2 touchdowns to provide a very productive rushing attack.  NY Giants are 4-1 SU in their last 5 games when playing Dallas and 3-3 ATS this season.  Vegas odds makers have the New York Giants as +1600 odds to win the 2011 Super Bowl.

I predict a Giants win on the road.  See ya Wade! Note: Rich Fritz is a Blog Writer on NSAwins.com and not a pro handicapper. For expert NFL Football Predictions against the vegas spreads please visit the NSAwins.com homepage for top predictions today from the National Sports Advisors.
