Miami Dolphins at Cincinnati Bengals 2010 NFL Predictions, Odds, and Picks Week 8

Miami Dolphins at Cincinnati Bengals 2010 NFL Predictions, Odds, and Picks Week 8:  Head Football Coach Tony Sparano will lead his Miami Dolphin team on the road to Paul Brown Stadium to play the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday at 1:00 PM ET.  The Dolphins are 3-3 with all their wins coming on the road and 3rd in the AFC East while the talented Bengals are 2-4 and 3rd in the AFC North.  Head football coach Marvin Lewis gives his team lots of leeway which to me has cost him control of the team and they don’t reach the potential that the superstars individually might.  Right now he has to overcome that and a host of injuries including defensive back Adam Jones out for the season and Carson Palmer should play this game with a bruised hip.  The Terrell Owens and Chad Ochocinco experiment statistically is fine, but a distraction that costs the team wins.  “Terrell has really done a good job for us. He’s really worked hard at learning how we do things, and has really minimized his errors and is getting the details right,” said Bengals coach Marvin Lewis, who added that Owens and Ochocinco are great practice players. “He’s obviously been very productive and is one of those guys who like to put the team on his back and win the football game.”  The odds makers at JustBET have the Cincinnati Bengals -1 1/2 point favorites at home against the Miami Dolphins.

The Dolphins are coming off a home loss 23-22 to the Pittsburgh Steelers where a close call near the end gave Pittsburgh a field goal to go ahead.  Quarterback Chad Henne completed 23 of 36 passes for 257 yards a touchdown and a pick hitting Miami’s offseason superstar acquisition Brandon Marshall 5 times for 57 yards. Marshall has be a good pickup for the Fins catching 42 balls for over 500 yards.  “Depending on who you listen to, you might hear some horror stories,” Sparano said. “‘Oh my God, this guy is so unmanageable in a game.’ That probably of anything has been the biggest thing I’ve been impressed with (in terms of misperception).”  Vegas odds makers have the Miami Dolphins as +6000 odds to win the 2011 Super Bowl.

The Bengals are also coming off a loss 39-32 to the Atlanta Falcons.  Quarterback Carson Palmer completed 36 of 50 passes for 412 yards and 3 touchdowns hitting Jordan Shipley 6 times for 131 yards and a score.  Miami is 5-1 SU in its last 6 games when playing on the road against Cincinnati and the total has gone UNDER in 4 of Cincinnati’s last 6 games when playing at home against Miami.  Vegas odds makers have the over/under for the total score at 43 1/2 points combined of the Cincinnati Bengals and Miami Dolphins.

I predict another road win for the Dolphins.  Go Fins! Rich Fritz is a Blog Writer on NSAwins.com and not a pro handicapper. For expert NFL Football Predictions against the vegas spreads please visit the NSAwins.com homepage for top predictions today from the National Sports Advisors.
