TCU Horned Frogs at Utah Utes 2010 NCAAF Week 10 Odds, Preview, Predictions

TCU Horned Frogs at Utah Utes 2010 NCAAF Week 10 Odds, Preview, and Predictions:  The No. 4 Texas Christian University Horned Frogs take their undefeated record on the road to Rice-Eccles Stadium for a contest with National title implications as the play the also unbeaten No. 5 Utah Utes on Saturday at 3:30 PM ET.  This is the Mountain West Conference’s first every league contest against 2 top 5 teams and will likely decide the Conference Champion as well as the team likely to bust into a BCS Bowl and possibly the BCS National Championship game.  TCU head football coach Gary Patterson wouldn’t let his team speak with the media after their last win the 22 consecutive for the Horned Frogs.  ”I didn’t think we played that well,” said Patterson, ”We did what we needed to do. We understand what we have got ahead of us.”  ”People know about Utah and people know about TCU,” Patterson told reporters, according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. ”You wouldn’t want it any different. You always like it when you’re playing for a championship. We understand what kind of football team they have and how talented they are.”  Vegas odds makers have the TCU Horned Frogs a -5 point favorite on the road against the Utah Utes.

TCU is coming off a rout of UNLV 48-6 on the road covering the spread and moving to 4-4 against the spread on the season.  Quarterback Andy Dalton completed 16 of 23 passes for 252 yards and 2 touchdowns connecting with Jeremy Kerley 5 times for 82 yards and a score.  Running back Ed Wesley led the ground attack with 13 carries for 64 yards and a touchdown.  Vegas odds makers have the TCU Horned Frogs +750 odds to win the 2011 BCS National Championship.

Utah was a recent winner over Air Force 28-23 on the road moving to 6-1-1 against the spread for the season.  Quarterback Jordon Wynn completed 15 of 23 passes for 148 yards a touchdown and a pick hitting Luke Matthews on a 36 yard score.  Running backs Matt Asiata and Eddie Wide combined for 49 carried and 177 yards with 3 touchdowns.  Utah is 5-0-1 ATS in its last 6 games at home the total has gone UNDER in 4 of Utah’s last 5 games when playing TCU.  Odds makers at Bodog have the over/under for the total score at 51 points combined of the TCU Horned Frogs and Utah Utes.

I predict a Ute upset at home.
