National Sports Advisors FBS College Football Power Top 25 Week 3 Rankings:The second week in FBS college football as just as exciting as the first.  There were impressive wins as the Alabama Crimson Tide continued to show legitimacy as No. 1 with a 24-3 over a ranked Penn State Nittany Lions team with Joe Pa on the sideline and Bobby Bowden on the Bama side rooting for the Tide.  Ohio State Buckeyes at No. 2 handled the young and impressive Miami Hurricanes while Oklahoma grew up quick to dominate the Florida State Seminoles 47-17 and keep their home winning streak alive.  The Boise State Broncos were off but might as well have lost at the ranked Virginia Tech Hokies that they beat in last Monday’s opener lost at home to subdivision foe James Madison 21-16 to fall to 0-2;  So much for strength of schedule for the Broncos.  Vegas odds makers have the Boise State Broncos +700 odds to win the 2011 BCS National Championship.

In one of the most exciting games on Saturday was Rich Rodriguez’s Michigan Wolverines going into South Bend with sophomore quarterback Denard Robinson Throwing for 244 yards and a touchdown and running for 258 yards and 2 more touchdowns to lead Big Blue to a 28-24 come from behind victory over the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.  A surprising upset had the Kansas Jayhawks defeating the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets 28-25 in Lawrenceville.  Between Florida State, Miami, Virginia Tech and Georgia Tech all taking loses the ACC had a pretty poor weekend!

Headlining this week’s action will be No. 6 Iowa Hawkeyes traveling to the No. 24 Arizona Wildcats on Saturday night at 10:30 PM ET.  Vegas odds makers have the Iowa Hawkeyes a -1 1/2 point favorite on the road against the Arizona Wildcats.
