Arkansas Razorbacks at Auburn Tigers 2010 NCAAF Week 7 Odds, Preview, Predictions

Arkansas Razorbacks at Auburn Tigers 2010 NCAAF Week 7 Odds, Preview, and Predictions:  The No. 14 Arkansas Razorbacks head on the road Saturday at 3:30 PM ET to take on the No. 8 Auburn Tigers on CBS in a 1st versus 4th in the SEC matchup at Jordan-Hare Stadium.  Arkansas comes in with just a lone loss at home against then No. 1 Alabama and Auburn comes in undefeated but with a handful of very close wins.  “I feel like we’re still in search for a really good, all-around four-quarter game. I don’t think that we’ve had that yet,” Auburn head football coach Gene Chizik said. “We’ve just got to continue to work every week and try to get better at some of the little things.  “As I’ve said every week, I don’t feel like we’re where we need to be. I’m very proud of our team that we’ve continued to fight and battle. They don’t look at the scoreboard. They just keep playing.”  If they don’t keep their heads in the game against the Razorbacks Heisman hopeful quarterback Ryan Mallett will have them looking up at a scoreboard where they are way behind.  Vegas odds makers have the Auburn Tigers a -3 1/2 point favorite at home against the Arkansas Razorbacks.

The Tigers are coming off another close win 37-34 at the Kentucky Wildcats putting them at 6-0 but just 3-3 against the spread for the season.  Quarterback Cam Newton has emerged from just a big strong duel threat player to a realistic Heisman contender who through six games had completed 65 percent of his throws for over 1,100 yards and 12 touchdowns as well as over 670 yards rushing and another nine scores to lead the Tigers.  Auburn is 2-4 SU in its last 6 games when playing at home against Arkansas.  Vegas odds makers have the Auburn Tigers +1200 odds to win the 2011 BCS National Championship.

Arkansas bounced back last week with a win 24-17 over Texas T&M.  Mallett completed 27 of 38 passes for 310 yards three touchdowns and a pick hitting Cobi Hamilton 5 times for 98 yards including a 71 yard touchdown.  The total has gone OVER in 4 of Arkansas’s last 6 games when playing Auburn and the Razorbacks are 4-2 SU in its last 6 games when playing on the road against Auburn.  Odds makers at BetUS have the over/under for the total score at 60 1/2 points combined of the Arkansas Razorbacks and Auburn Tigers.

I predict the Hogs will upset the Tigers on the road! Note: Rich Fritz is a Blog Writer on NSAwins.com and not a pro handicapper. For expert College Football Predictions against the vegas spreads please visit the NSAwins.com homepage for top predictions today from the National Sports Advisors.
