2009 Pac 10 Football Odds – USC Trojans the Favorite

NSAwins.com has posted the 2009 Odds to Win the Pac 10 Football Conference and vegas oddsmakers have installed Pete Carroll’s USC Trojans the 1/4(-400) favorite. USC has produced a remarkable run of seven straight seasons that’s seen the program produce at least 11 victories, a BCS bowl bid, Pac 10 championship, and a AP poll finish in the Top 5. Pete Carroll has built USC up to be arguably the nation’s premier College Football program. If that success is going to continue in 2009, than Carroll must find a way to replace 8 starters from the nation’s top-ranked defense in 2008 and find a replacement for the departed Mark Sanchez at quarterback. USC has the talent waiting in the wings to fill in the gaps, however, and deserves to be favored to win the Pac 10 once again. USC’s top competition for the league title this year should be California and Oregon. The Golden Bears and Ducks have both been given 2/1(+200) odds to win the Pac 10 by vegas linemakers. NSAwins.com’s official prediction to win the 2009 Pac 10 Championship is USC, as we simply cannot see Pete Carroll’s squad faltering in a league that really is not that strong top to bottom this season.
