That is down from the -1000 heavy favorite he was listed at with Bovada just 3 weeks ago on March 15th.

The reason for Biden’s odds declining, even though he is still the heavy favorite, is the emergence of New York State Governor, Andrew Cuomo. Cuomo has won praise by many in the media for his handling of the COVID-19 crisis in New York and has been a national presence on television each day with his press conferences. Cuomo is listed with +1200 odds to win the Democratic Presidential nominee but would need a brokered democratic convention to see that happen. That would only happen if, for some reason, Biden dropped out of the race.

Of course, the ultimate prize is to win the 2020 US Presidential Election. 45th US President Donald Trump is the current -120 favorite to win reelection. Trump’s betting odds are down slightly from the -130 favorite he was posted at with Bovada on March 15th. However, Biden’s 2020 US Presidential Election odds have also declined from +120 on March 15th to +140 today. Both candidates odds have come down largely because of the emergence of Cuomo. The New York governor was off the board on March 15th and is now in 3rd position with +2200 odds at Bovada.  US Senator Bernie Sanders has seen his odds unchanged as he is still at +2500 odds but is now in 4th position instead of 3rd.
