2015 RBC Heritage Odds, Free Picks & Predictions: Jordan Spieth the Vegas 5/1 Betting Favorite

2015 RBC Heritage Odds, Free Picks & Predictions: Jordan Spieth the Vegas 5/1 Betting Favorite: The PGA Tour makes a stop in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina for the 2015 RBC Heritage Open that will take place starting Thursday, April 16th at the gorgeous Harbour Town Golf Links course. The early PGA betting odds to win the RBC Heritage Open have been released by Bovada Sportsbook and the favorite is Jordan Spieth at 5/1 odds.

The RBC Heritage first began on the PGA Tour back in 1969 and is a FedEx Cup event on the PGA Tour. The event is played on one of the best courses in the world at Harbour Town Golf Links and is a par 71 course played under a stroke play format. The RBC Heritage is one of only five events on the PGA Tour that have special “invitational” status and thus only has a small field of just 132 professional players. The beautiful course stretches over 7,101 yards and has a total prize fund of $5.9 million.

Last year’s RBC Heritage winner was USA’s Matt Kuchar who shot a total score of 273 to finish -11 under par. The win marked the sixth year in a row that the winner of the RBC Heritage Open was a first time winner. Kuchar has 20/1 odds to repeat as the RBC Heritage Champion in 2015 and he would become the first PGA Tour pro to accomplish the feat since Boo Weekly won his 2nd win at Harbour Town Golf Links in 2008. Weekley has 80/1 longshot odds at Bovada to win his 3rd RBC Heritage Open this weekend.

The only PGA Tour pro to ever win the RBC Heritage Open more than 2 times is Davis Love III. Love III won the RBC Heritage an incredible five times in his career with the last win coming in 2003. The all-time record total score for the RBC Heritage Open is held by Brian Gay who shot a total score of 264 to finish -20 under par in 2009. Neither Love III or Gay will be participating in the 2015 RBC Heritage so they carry no odds.

Other top PGA Tour pros with strong odds to win the 2015 RBC Heritage include Zach Johnson at 16/1 odds, Patrick Reed at 18/1, Jim Furyk at 20/1, Ian Poulter at 22/1, Bill Haas at 25/1, Brandt Snedeker at 28/1, Louis Oosthuizen at 28/1 and Luke Donald at 28/1. Our top PGA Tour expert handicapper Sonny LaFouchi has made his 2015 RBC Heritage predictions and he is picking Jordan Spieth to pick up where he left off last week at the Masters by winning again at 5/1 odds in South Carolina.
