San Francisco 49ers at Arizona Cardinals 2010 NFL Predictions, Odds, and Picks Week 12

San Francisco 49ers at Arizona Cardinals 2010 NFL Predictions, Odds, and Picks Week 12:  Head football coach Mike Singletary will lead his San Francisco 49ers on the road to University of Phoenix Stadium to take on the Arizona Cardinals on ESPN’s Monday Night Football at 8:30 PM ET.  Arizona sits at 3-7 4th place in the NFC West while San Francisco is also at 3-7 3rd in the division.  Both teams have had a five game losing streak and the Cardinals are coming off their 5th loss against Kansas City last week.  “We are not really a confident team right now,” head football coach Ken Whisenhunt said. “I think it’s a natural human emotion when you’ve lost five in a row and you’ve lost some of the games the way we have. It’s definitely something that plays into it. This game is about momentum. It’s about confidence and we don’t have a lot to base positive things on here lately.” The 49ers were shut out at home last week for the first time since 1977 which reduces their playoff chances dramatically.  “It was a big setback,” coach Singletary said. “We expected to come out here and play well. We did not.”  The odds makers at JustBET have the San Francisco 49ers -1 point favorites on the road at the Arizona Cardinals.

The Niners were rocked 21-0 at home last week by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers moving them to 4-6 ATS for the year.  Quarterback Troy Smith completed 16 of 31 passes for just 148 yards and a pick while rushing 5 times for 45 yards to lead the team on the ground.  Running back Frank Gore could only manage 23 yards on 12 carries against the stingy Bucs defense.  San Francisco is 4-2 SU in its last 6 games when playing Arizona.  Vegas odds makers have the San Francisco 49ers as +15000 odds to win the 2011 Super Bowl.

The Cardinals are coming off a loss 31-13 on the road against the Kansas City Chiefs moving them to 3-7 ATS for the season.  Quarterback Derek Anderson completed 25 of 46 passes for 295 yards and a touchdown pass to Larry Fitzgerald on the last play of the game.  Fitzgerald finished with 6 catches for 90 yards and the score while Tim Hightower had 12 carries for 62 yards.  The total has gone OVER in 5 of Arizona’s last 6 games when playing at home against San Francisco.  Vegas odds makers have the over/under for the total score at 40 points combined of the San Francisco 49ers and Arizona Cardinals.

I predict a Niner win on the road!
