Thursday 12/17
Jacksonville plus 3 – What, you say?… Yes I’m going against logic but I think Indy is not worried about going 16-0 and don’t want the pressure of a perfect season. Now that they’ve clinched home field for the playoffs, they have little incentive while this is a huge game for Jacksonville. Plus the Jags usually play Indy close and often beats them in Jacksonville.
Saturday 12/19
Dallas plus 7 – New Orleans hasn’t been playing well the last couple of weeks and I wonder whether they are reading too many of their press clippings or they’ve already peaked. I know Dallas gags in December, but since this is a game nobody thinks they will win, they’ll probably play loose and shock everyone.
Sunday 12/20
Arizona minus 12 – The Cardinals will be pissed at how they played in SF and looking to open a can on someone. This is a blowout waiting to happen.
Buffalo plus 7 – NE hasn’t shown the ability to beat anyone on the road period, nevermind beating someone by more than a TD, okay? The Bills should’ve beaten NE opening week and will be looking for revenge. Take the points.
Denver minus 14– The Donkey’s need this game and Oakland’s QB is out and they’re playing some 3rd string guy, enough said….
Seattle minus 6.5 – Both teams suck but I think Seattle can and will beat a Tampa team that has to travel a long way to play this game.
San Diego minus 6.5 – The Bengals have peaked and the divisional sweep is less impressive considering that Pittsburgh has not played like Pittsburgh teams of recent years. San Diego is peaking and getting better at the right time. Lay the points.
Monday 12/21
Washington plus 3 – The Redskins have played very good football the last 3 weeks while the G-Men have been a sieve on defense. Give me the hot home dog here.
Washington/New York Under 44 – I will continue this under train until it derails…..
