Dallas Cowboys at Indianapolis Colts 2010 NFL Predictions, Odds, and Picks Week 13

Dallas Cowboys at Indianapolis Colts 2010 NFL Predictions, Odds, and Picks Week 13:  Head football coach Jason Garrett will take his Dallas Cowboys on the road to play the injury depleted Indianapolis Colts on Sunday afternoon at 4:15 PM ET at Lucas Oil Stadium.  The Cowboys are at 3-8 but 2-1 since Garrett took over as coach while the Colts have struggled at 6-5 and will not continue their streak of 7 consecutive 12 win seasons a league record.  The Colts have made mistakes that have cost them games they didn’t make in the past.  “We try to get to the root of the cause,” head football coach Jim Caldwell said. “We don’t necessarily try to sugarcoat things. We have to be able to deal with them directly and solve the problem. I think that’s the big thing. It’s not all the same thing. It’s not all the same exact situation that occurs that causes them. Those are the things that we have to address.”  Injuries have the Colts running game almost nonexistent and all the pressure is on quarterback Payton Manning.  The odds makers at BetUS have the Indianapolis Colts -6 point favorites at home against the Dallas Cowboys.

The Colts are coming off another loss to the San Diego Chargers 36-14 who seem to have their number to move to 6-5 ATS for the season.  Quarterback Payton Manning completed 31 of 48 passes for 284 yards and 2 touchdowns but had 4 interceptions.  Running back Donald Brown carried 11 times for just 24 yards to lead the rushing attack.  Indianapolis is 19-3 SU in its last 22 games at home.  Vegas odds makers have the Indianapolis Colts as +1200 odds to win the 2011 Super Bowl.

The Cowboys lost a close game with the defending Super Bowl Champion New Orleans Saints 30-27 to fall to 4-7 ATS for the season.  Quarterback John Kitna completed 30 of 42 passes for 313 yards with a pick and rookie Dez Bryant had his first game without a reception.  “I think there’s always a tangible goal,” Garrett said. “For different people it’s probably different things. When you’re playing and coaching on a football team, you want to put your best foot forward all the time. You want to take great pride in what you do.”  “He’s a great competitor,” Garrett said. “I thought he handled that situation well throughout the ballgame, didn’t seem distracted to me, was excited, was passionate, but was ready to go.”  The total has gone UNDER in 4 of Dallas’s last 6 games when playing Indianapolis.  Vegas odds makers have the over/under for the total score at 47 1/2 points combined of the Dallas Cowboys and Indianapolis Colts.

I predict the Cowboys to cover so take the points to win!
