2020 Cleveland Browns Odds to Win AFC North, AFC Title & Super Bowl from Bovada
The AFC North, in our opinion, is the most talented top to bottom in the AFC. Today we take a look at the NFL odds for the Cleveland Browns.
The Browns went 6-10 last season and finished 3rd in the AFC North. The Browns have never won the AFC North and haven’t won a division title since they won the old AFC Central in 1989. Cleveland has +450 odds to win in the latest 2020 AFC North Division Odds.
Cleveland decided to cut the cord after one year with former head coach Freddie Kitchens. What a clown. They have brought in a real head coach this time in former Minnesota Vikings offensive coordinator Kevin Stefanski. The 38 year-old has never been a head coach before but was a coach with the Vikings since 2006 and comes well respected.
Time will tell if Stefanski is the right guy but he will only be as good as his quarterback Baker Mayfield. The 3rd year pro is a polarizing figure who rubs many the wrong way with his cockiness. However, the guy can play and has real talent. It’s up to Stefanski to bring it out of him and coach him up. Kitchens was nothing but a yes man for Mayfield and Stefanski will have to get Mayfield to buy in. If he does, watch out. Mayfield has +2500 odds to win in the latest odds to win the 2020 AP NFL MVP.
With Mayfield hopefully getting over his sophomore slump and stepping up his game this season, the Browns are an intriguing team to bet on. The Browns have the 8th best odds in the AFC with +1600 odds in the latest 2020 AFC Championship Odds. They are listed with the 16th best odds in the NFL at +3300 odds in the current 2020 Super Bowl Odds from Bovada.
The Browns offense should be more explosive under an improved Mayfield in Stefanski’s system. Mayfield has a lot of talent to work with including wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr and running back Nick Chubb. Those two guys are top flight talents and it was painful watching the Browns struggle offensively last season with all this talent to work with.
On defense, the Browns are still a work in progress but they do have talent. It starts with Myles Garrett. The 24 year-old pro bowler is known for the wrong reasons after he tried knocking out Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph last season. That was ugly. However, the guy is an elite pass rusher and has NFL Defensive Player of the Year type of talent. He is listed with +1600 odds in the latest 2020 AP NFL Defensive Player of the Year odds after opening at +2500.
