2015 NFL Week 5 Odds & Betting Lines – Opening Week 5 NFL Odds & Lines Report

The week 5 NFL action kicks off on Thursday Night at 8:25 PM EST from NRG Stadium in Houston when the Indianapolis Colts take on the Houston Texans in an AFC South Division battle. The early opening line on this game has yet to be released due to the playinh status uncertainty of Colts quarterback Andrew Luck. Luck is nursing a shoulder injury and it’s looking more and more like he will try and give it a go on Thursday but he will still most likely be a game time decision.

The week 5 Sunday NFL action is not the best this week in terms of intriguing matchups in our opinion. Having said that, there are plenty of betting lines that wiseguys and sharps in Las Vegas will absolutely clean up and feast on this Sunday in our opinion. As of right now there are only three road favorites of the ten games with posted opening lines and 5 favorites of a touchdown or larger.

The Sunday NFL week 5 action at 1 PM EST has eight NFL games secheduled. The favorites for these games are Tampa Bay -3 at home versus Jacksonville, Buffalo -3 at Tennessee, Baltimore -6.5 at home against Cleveland, Atlanta -8 at home versus Washington, Kansas City -10 at home against Chicago, Philadelphia -5 at home versus New Orleans and Green Bay -9.5 point home favorites against St Louis. Seattle goes to Cincinnati to play at 1 PM EST also but the odds makers have not released and early line yet as the Seahawks play Monday night against the Lions.

The 4PM EST NFL week 5 action has three NFL games scheduled. The New England Patriots are -7 point road favorites at Dallas, Denver is a -5.5 point favorite at Oakland and there is no opening line yet on the Arizona @ Detroit game with the Lions playing Monday night at Seattle.

The primetime games on Sunday night and Monday night for NFL week 5 have the New York Giants hosting the San Francisco 49ers Sunday night and the San Diego Chargers hosting the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday night. The Giants are listed as -7 point favorites Sunday night and the odds makers have installed the Chargers as -3 point favorites on Monday night.
