Washington Redskins +8 over Atlanta Falcons – The Atlanta Falcons enter week 5 with an unbeaten 4-0 overall record and they are also 4-0 against the spread. They have looked dominant so far but will be going up against the best defense they’ve faced so far this season. The Redskins have the NFL’s 10th overall total defense and are 2-2 on the season after last week’s 23-20 home win over Philadelphia. The Redskins offense is just 22nd in the NFL in scoring but they have put up a respectable 20 plus points each of the last 3 weeks. We look for the Redskins defense to keep Atlanta in check as they have held all four of their opponents thus far to 363 yards or less of total offense. The Falcons defense is only 15th in the NFL and we feel the Redskins offense will be able to put up 20 plus points against them and give themselves a shot at an outright win. Take the +8 points as this game will be a lot closer than people expect.

Buffalo Bills -2.5 over Tennessee Titans – You never know which Bills team will show up as the team that dominated the Colts and Dolphins looked like AFC Title contenders and the team that got dominated by the Patriots and Giants has looked like posers. We look for the dominant Bills to once again show up this Sunday as they’ll be facing a 1-2 Titans team that’s coming off the bye but still trotting out a rookie quarterback to go up against Rex Ryan’s defense. The Bills are too good to allow a slip up this week at Tennessee and they need to win games like this if they plan on making the playoffs for the first time this century. Lay the -2.5 points and take the Bills as they’ll expose a Titans team that’s awful and has looked better than they really are because they’ve faced the Bucs, Browns and a banged up Colts team so far.

St Louis Rams +10 over Green Bay Packers – This game should be fantastic to watch and a lot closer than the spread indicates. The 2-2 Rams are heading into Lambeau Field feeling very confident after beating the previously unbeaten Arizona Cardinals on the road last Sunday 24-22. Rams rookie running back Todd Gurley has looked spectacular so far and should be able to expose a Packers run defense that’s looked okay the last two weeks but gave up 119 rushing yards to Seattle and 189 to Chicago the first two weeks. The Packers are 4-0 overall and 4-0 against the spread but will have their hands full against a physical Rams defense. Look for the Rams to be in this game all day long Sunday and don’t be shocked if they knock off the Packers like they did the Cardinals last week from the list of unbeaten. Take the points.
