2015-NFL-AFC-East-Predictions-and-Odds2015 AFC North Division Predictions & Odds – NFL Expert Picks to Win AFC North: The early odds to capture the AFC North Division this 2015 NFL football season have been posted by Bovada Sportsbook and the Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers are the +190 favorites to win the AFC North this season, followed by the Cincinnati Bengals at +220 and the Cleveland Browns at +900. The AFC North is always one of the top divisions in the NFL it seems like every season and this year should be no different. Let’s take a look at the AFC North and make our official 2015 NFL picks & predictions to win the division.

2015 AFC North Division Predictions and Odds to Win

1. Baltimore Ravens(+190 odds to win AFC North at Bovada) – Head coach John Harbaugh is one of the top head coaches in the NFL when he’s not busy whining and crying about officials and the New England Patriots. Seriously, John, could you take a tough loss like a man for once? Anyway, Harbaugh has another talented Ravens roster on his hands this season and should have Baltimore back in the AFC playoffs and poised to make another deep run. Baltimore won 10 games last season and should have won their AFC Divisional Round playoff game at New England but couldn’t seal the deal after twice going up 2 touchdowns in New England’s house. The Ravens lost some key pieces in the offseason in defensive tackle Haloti Ngota and wide receiver Torrey Smith but general manager Ozzie Newsome did add cornerback Kyle Arrington from New England plus had what we believe was another stellar draft class. Look for Baltimore to reclaim the AFC North this season from Pittsburgh and possibly earn a bye in the AFC Playoffs. 2015 Projected Record for Baltimore Ravens: 11-5

2. Pittsburgh Steelers(+190 odds to win AFC North at Bovada) – The Steelers had a nice surprising 11 win season last year and claimed the AFC North, but a disappointing home loss to the Ravens at Heinz Field in the AFC Wildcard round left nobody in the organization feeling good about themselves or the season they had. The Steelers will be a formidable squad once again in 2015 led by quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and underrated head coach Mike Tomlin. Wide receiver Antonio Brown is one of the Top 10 weapons in all of football and should help Pittsburgh’s offense be one of the Top 2-3 units in all of football again this season but the defense still will be the reason the Steelers are held back come playoff time. Long-time safety and future Hall of Famer Troy Polamalu retired as did long-time cornerback Ike Taylor so the Steelers secondary will look different and be a work in progress this season. The Steelers did try and improve by using 6 of their 8 draft picks on defense but we’re still not convinced the defense will be good enough against the top QB’s in the AFC come postseason. 2015 Projected Record for Pittsburgh Steelers: 10-6

3. Cincinnati Bengals(+220 odds to win AFC North at Bovada) – If we are tired of head coach Marvin Lewis’ worn out act already how do you think long-time suffering Bengals fans feel? Seriously, how is Lewis still in control in Cincinnati when he’s been there since 2003 and hasn’t won a single playoff game? It’s absurd. Anyway, don’t expect things to change this season for the Bengals and it could get worse because we don’t even see them making the playoffs this season. Quarterback Andy Dalton is a ham and egger yet is getting paid to be an elite performer, while the defense was a terrible 22nd overall in the NFL last year and we don’t see them being much better, if at all, this season. Things are shaping up to be a big time downer of a year for the Bengals and their loyal fans this season. Somebody needs to give Lewis his walking papers already. 2015 Projected Record for Cincinnati Bengals: 9-7

4. Cleveland Browns(+900 odds to win AFC North at Bovada) – If it’s not one thing it’s another with the Clowns. They draft a quarterback they shouldn’t have in Johnny “Football” who ends up needing rehab, their best receiver Josh Gordon gets himself suspended for the entire season for failing a drug test and the general manager Ray Farmer gets in trouble with the league and suspended for sending text messages down to the field from his suite. Put a tent over this circus already. The Browns allowed quarterback Brian Hoyer to leave in free agency and signed another ham and egger to replace him in Josh McCown. Whether McCown or Johnny “Football” are at the controls this season, it won’t matter as the Browns offense will still be one of the 10 worst in football in our eyes. The defense should be improved from the 23rd overall unit it was last season with a couple nice free agent additions in defensive tackle Randy Starks and cornerback Tramon Williams plus 1st round draft pick nose tackle Danny Shelton. However, in the end, the Browns will once again be the Clowns and stumble and fumble their way to another lousy season. Book it. 2015 Projected Record for Cleveland Browns: 7-9
