Utah Jazz at Miami Heat 2010 NBA Preview, Odds, and Predictions:  The Utah Jazz head to American Airlines Arena to tip it off against the Miami Heat on Tuesday night at 7:30 PM ET.  The Jazz come in at 3-3 and 3rd in the Northwest while the Heat is at 5-2 good for 3rd in the Southeast.  The Miami Heat’s big three are slowly coming into sync with all three Dwayne Wade, LeBron James, and Chris Bosh all scoring over 20 points for the first time together.  “We’re starting to get more of a comfort zone,” said Wade, who has led the Heat in scoring all three games this month. “It’s only been seven games,” he added. “We can look at the next seven as hopefully being better than we were in the first seven.”  The Heat have won 7 consecutive games against the Jazz and are looking to make it 2 in a row for this 6 game home stand.  The Jazz are a talented team led by Russian small Forward Andrei Kirilenko nicknamed AK47 and All Star point guard Deron Williams.  Kirilenko has been inconsistent this season.  “I’m definitely,” he said, “gonna try to be more aggressive.”  The odds makers at Bodog have the Miami Heat a -9 point favorite at home against the Utah Jazz.

The Heat is coming off a victory at home on Saturday against the New Jersey Nets 101-89 where the defense continued to control the tempo of the game for Miami.  The heat were led by Dwayne Wade with 29 points 10 boards and three assists, one of which was a Top play where he passed up a dunk to lay the ball above the rim for Lebron.  James finished with 23 points 3 rebounds and 9 dimes.  Power forward Chris Bosh also excelled scoring 21 points with 5 boards and 2 assists.  Miami is 5-0 SU in its last 5 games when playing at home against Utah.  Vegas odds makers have the Miami Heat +170 to win the 2010-2011 NBA Championship.

The Jazz are coming off a 109-107 win at home against the Clippers where they needed to erase a big deficit then take 2 overtimes to win.  Deron Williams led the way with 30 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists while Paul Millsap poured in 25 points and pulled down 13 boards.  The total has gone OVER in 10 of Utah’s last 14 games when playing Miami.  Vegas odds makers have the over/under for the total score at 192 1/2 points combined of the Utah Jazz and Miami Heat.
