Miami Heat at Milwaukee Bucks 2011 NBA Preview, Odds, and Predictions

Miami Heat at Milwaukee Bucks 2011 NBA Preview, Odds, and Predictions:  Shooting guard Dwayne Wade will lead the still red hot Miami Heat on the road to the Bradley Center to take on the Milwaukee Bucks for the second time this week at 8:30 PM ET Friday night.   The Heat enter the game on a 7 game winning streak, 11 in a row on the road, and winning 19 of their last 20 to get to 28-9 1st in the Southeast while the Bucks have lost 2 straight and come in at 13-20 but always seem to play the Heat close.  “You have to give our guys credit for hanging in and trying to battle through it,” coach Scott Skiles said. “We finally started making some plays, but once you get to that point you have to make every free throw. You feel like you have to make every shot and against a team of their quality it’s very difficult to do.” “The players probably enjoyed some other games more,” Miami coach Erik Spoelstra said. “But I think this was an important game. That’s a very physical team. They’re a very good defensive team. A lot of times when you play against them, it’s a grind-out game, and we had to play a different kind of game tonight, have some mental toughness and resiliency when things weren’t necessarily going our way.”  The odds makers at Bodog have the Miami Heat a -7 point favorite on the road against the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Heats winning streak most recently came at the hands of the Bucks 101-89 at home where the Heat pulled away late leaving them at 18-18-1 ATS  and even .500 for the season.  The big three all excelled again with Wade leading the scoring with 34 points 4 rebounds and 2 assists while LeBron James added 25 points 6 boards and 9 dimes.  Chris Bosh continued to dominate the paint with 19 points and 12 rebounds.  Vegas odds makers have the Miami Heat +200 to win the 2010-2011 NBA Championship.

The Bucks are coming off a loss 97-87 on the road against the Orlando Magic leaving them at 14-18-1 ATS for the season.  Forward Corey Maggette led the scoring off the bench with 21 points and 7 rebounds to lead the Bucks.  The total has gone OVER in 12 of Milwaukee’s last 16 games when playing at home against Miami.  Vegas odds makers have the over/under for the total score at 183 points combined of the Miami Heat and Milwaukee Bucks.

I predict the Heat win on the road again!
