2019 Big Machine Vodka 400 Odds2019 Big Machine Vodka 400 Odds & Predictions – Favorites & Bad Bets at the Brickyard: The 2019 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series regular season comes to a close this weekend with a trip to the arguably the most famous track in all of motorsports. Indianapolis Motor Speedway will host Sunday’s Big Machine Vodka 400 at the Brickyard, and every driver will be looking to kiss the bricks at the start/finish line and join the list legendary racers who have gone to victory lane at the track.

History suggests that it is going to be a familiar face kissing that yard of bricks Sunday afternoon. Of the 24 Cup races held at Indianapolis, 19 of them have been won by former champions. Nine drivers have actually won at the Brickyard and won the series crown in the same season. Don’t be shy about leaning on the big names when placing your bets for this weekend’s Big Machine Vodka 400 at the Brickyard.

2019 Big Machine Vodka 400 Odds & Predictions: Favorites & Bad Bets at the Brickyard

Favorites to Bet

Kyle Busch (3/1)

Busch won at Indianapolis in both 2015 and 2016, and he has had the car to beat in each of the last four races here. He has led at least 19 laps in all four of those starts, topping 80 laps led twice and leading 185 more laps than any other driver. His dominance at Indianapolis has been on another level, and if you are putting a big bet on one of the frontrunners this weekend, it needs to be on Busch.

Denny Hamlin (6/1)

Although a win at Indianapolis has eluded him, Hamlin has notched a series-best four top-five finishes in the last five races at the track. He led 37 laps and finished third in last year’s race, and he heads into Sunday’s race in the middle of one of the best stretches of his career. It’s not a bad idea to strike while the iron is hot and place a bet on Hamlin to kiss the bricks this weekend.

Kevin Harvick (6/1)

He is a former winner at Indianapolis, and no driver has been more consistent here in recent years. In five starts here with Stewart-Haas Racing, he leads all driver with a 5.4 average finish. Harvick is the only driver who has finished in the top 10 in each of the last five races here, and he has led the second most laps of any driver in that span. He is one of the best bets to be in the mix for the win Sunday.

Brad Keselowski (10/1)

Keselowski kissed the bricks last season, sealing the deal after a runner-up effort at Indianapolis in 2017. He has led laps in seven of his nine starts at the track overall, including four straight, and he has led at least 15 laps on five separate occasions. Keselowski always seems to be able to run up front at Indy, and at 10/1, he is going to pay the most to win out of the drivers who are perennial contenders at the Brickyard.

Big Name to Avoid

Erik Jones (8/1)

I know he’s coming off a win in the Southern 500, and I know he was the runner-up at Indianapolis last year. However, this seems like a massive overreaction to his win last weekend. Jones is one of the rising stars in NASCAR, and I think he is going to be a perennial title contender in the coming years. For now, he is a driver with just two wins in 100 Cup Series starts, and to suddenly give him better odds to win than guys like Brad Keselowski and Joey Logano seems a little crazy. Yes, Jones could win this weekend, but I don’t like the value at 8/1.
