2012 F.W. Webb 200 Odds, Free Picks and Predictions – Favorites and Sleepers at New Hampshire

2012 F.W. Webb 200 Odds, Free Picks and Predictions – Favorites and Sleepers to Win F.W. Webb 200: The Nationwide Series race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway always seems to draw an interesting mix of Cup drivers and Nationwide regulars. Plenty of big names, including Tony Stewart and Matt Kenseth, have been to victory lane at the track, but the field never seems to be crowded with Cup drivers pulling double duty. This weekend’s race is no exception, and while there are a handful of big names dropping down to run for the win, the top Nationwide drivers should still have a fighting chance.

Of course, any driver that gets to Victory Lane Saturday will likely have to deal with Kyle Busch. He has won three straight races at New Hampshire, surviving a green-white-checkered duel with Kevin Harvick to get the job done last season. Harvick actually led the most laps of any driver in the race, but in the end, it was once again Busch emerging victorious.

The Favorites – 2012 F.W. Webb 200 Odds, Predictions and Free Picks

It is safe to say that Kyle Busch is the man to beat this weekend at New Hampshire. He has won the last three races at the track and will be gunning for a four-peat. He hasn’t dominated the competition in all three victories, but until someone else is standing in Victory Lane at New Hampshire in the Nationwide Series, it is tough to bet against Busch.

His 5.1 average finish is the best among drivers entered in this weekend’s race, and even more impressively, Kevin Harvick has amassed those numbers in 11 starts at New Hampshire. Needless to say, his consistency has stood the test of time. Harvick has finished in the top 10 in his last 10 starts at the track, picking up a win and eight top-five finishes, including a second-place finish last season. He is basically a lock to be in the mix for the victory Saturday.

The Dark Horses – 2012 F.W. Webb 200 Odds, Predictions and Free Picks

Although he has never won at New Hampshire, Brad Keselowski has been pretty darn good at the track. He has finished in the top 10 in all four Nationwide starts, finishing third or better twice. Keselowski won the pole for last year’s race at New Hampshire, and it seems like only a matter of time before he adds a win to his resume, as well.

He hasn’t made a ton of Nationwide starts in his career, but Kasey Kahne has been strong in his four starts at New Hampshire in the series. He has compiled a 7.0 average finish, finishing 12th or better in all four starts. Last year, Kahne finished a career-best third at the track, and the only two drivers to finish ahead of him were New Hampshire aces Kyle Busch and Kevin Harvick.

Sleeper Specials – 2012 F.W. Webb 200 Odds, Predictions and Free Picks

After finishing an unexciting 16th in his New Hampshire debut in 2010, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. delivered a strong fourth-place run last season. In fact, he was the highest finishing Nationwide regular in the race, and he led 26 laps. Stenhouse made big strides between his first and second start at New Hampshire, and with three wins under his belt already in 2012, he could be an even bigger threat to win this weekend.

Rookie Austin Dillon just keeps getting better. He followed up his win at Kentucky with another top-five finish at Daytona, giving him a series-leading nine top-fives in 2012. Dillon has climbed to within two points of the top spots in the standings, and even though he doesn’t have much experience in the Nationwide Series, it doesn’t seem to be slowing him down. At this point, he has to be considered a threat to win on any given weekend.

Big Name to Avoid – 2012 F.W. Webb 200 Odds, Predictions and Free Picks

He is clinging to a two-point lead in the standings, but Elliott Sadler could have trouble keeping the competition at bay this weekend at New Hampshire. After all, he has finished outside the top 10 in his last three starts at the track. Granted, he has cracked the top 15 in each of the last two seasons, but it looks like Sadler will be playing damage control at New Hampshire instead of contending for a victory.
