NSAwins.com’s Week 5 College Football Top 25

This Week’s “SUPER 15″(Teams Ranked 1-15 in NSAwins.com’s Poll)

NOTE: ALL Records thru September 27, 2009
RK(LW), TEAM, RECORD
#1(1) Florida Gators 4-0 Tim Tebow better be 100% for the LSU game or else the Gators will be in trouble.
#2(2) – Texas Longhorns 4-0 Crushed UTEP 64-7 last saturday. Maybe the Horns are finally ready to DOMINATE this season.
#3(4) – Alabama Crimson Tide 4-0 The Tide looked mighty impressive rolling over Arkansas 35-7. That season opening win vs Va Tech is looking really impressive now too after the way the Hokies have played after that game.
#4(3) – LSU Tigers 4-0 The Tigers were fortunate to escape Starksville last saturday with a close 30-26 win. Maybe they were looking ahead but they can’t afford to play like that this week at Georgia.
#5(5) – Oklahoma Sooners 2-1 The Sooners keep on moving up the polls as teams keep losing at the top of the polls. Sooners are right where they need to be.
#6(9) – Virginia Tech Hokies 3-1 The Hokies deserve to be this high with the way they’ve played thus far against Alabama, Nebraska, and Miami-Fl. Frank Beamer’s team is for real and is in great position to win the ACC and play in another BCS bowl game.
#7(6) – TCU Horned Frogs 3-0 Solid 14-10 road win at Clemson last saturday. Garry Patterson’s crew is for real. They will run the table this season and beat a top team in a BCS bowl. You heard it here first.
#8(7) – Ohio St Buckeyes 3-1 The Buckeyes destroyed Illinois 30-0 last saturday proving once again why the Big 10 is so weak. No depth, lack of talent, terrible coaching runs rampant in that conference. The Buckeyes, however, can play.
#9(10) – USC Trojans 3-1 Maybe we should have USC ranked higher than Ohio St after they beat them, but we still can’t get the vision of USC losing at Washington out of our minds. What a terrible, terrible loss.
#10(11) – Boise St Broncos 4-0 Boise St is in the Top 5 of both the AP and USA Today polls but we don’t see it. Their defense was shredded at Fresno St and they will run into trouble against any of the BIG BOYS that can run. Boise St is a solid club but NOT a Top 5 club.
#11(15) – Cincinnati Bearcats 4-0 Solid 28-20 win over Fresno St last saturday to avoid the letdown after a nice win at Oregon St.
#12(16) – Oklahoma St 3-1 The offense is clicking on all cylinders after a nice 56-6 blowout over Grambling. Big game next week(Oct 10) versus an improving Texas A&M squad.
#13(19) – Kansas Jayhawks 4-0 Might be the quietest and most underrated 4-0 team in the nation. However, Kansas can play and should be 6-0 heading into it’s Oct 24th showdown with Oklahoma in Lawrence.
#14(NR) – Oregon Ducks 3-1 Thoroughly destroyed Cal from pillar to post last saturday 42-3. IMPRESSIVE!
#15(21) – Nebraska Cornhuskers 3-1 – The Huskers could very easily be 4-0 and in the Top 10. The Huskers are for real people. Bo Pelini is doing one helluva job in Lincoln ressurecting this traditional powerhouse.

BEST of the REST(Teams Ranked 15-25)

#16(NR) – Iowa Hawkeyes 4-0
#17(20) – Georgia Bulldogs 3-1
#18(13) – Ole Miss Rebels 2-1
#19(NR) – Houston Cougars 3-0
#20(22) – Missouri Tigers 4-0
#21(24) – BYU Cougars 3-1
#22(12) – Penn St Nittany Lions 3-1
#23(NR) – Michigan Wolverines 4-0
#24(8) – Miami-Fl Hurricanes 2-1
#25(NR) – Auburn Tigers 4-0
