Michigan Wolverines at Purdue Boilermakers 2010 NCAAF Week 11 Odds, Preview, Predictions

Michigan Wolverines at Purdue Boilermakers 2010 NCAAF Week 11 Odds, Preview, and Predictions:  Head football coach Rich Rodriguez will take his high octane offense of the Michigan Wolverines on the road to Ross-Ade Stadium to take on Big Ten foe the Purdue Boilermakers on Saturday at 12:00 Noon ET.  Coach Rodriguez got good news last week on two fronts; the NCAA dropped its investigation and the team got its 2nd conference win making the Wolverine bowl eligible for the first time in his 3 year tenure at Michigan.  “They stood in there all game. The pressure got to the quarterback, and that was a good thing to see. We need to be more aggressive at times, and that time it paid off.” — Michigan coach Rich Rodriguez, commenting on his much-maligned defense and how it came through in the final moments of the triple-overtime win against Illinois.  More good news is that wide receiver Roy Roundtree was honored as the Big Ten offense player of the week for his school record 246 receiving yard effort and that Heisman Trophy candidate quarterback Denard Robinson will likely play this week after sitting out the end of last week’s game with dizziness.  Vegas odds makers have the Michigan Wolverines a -13 point favorite on the road against the Purdue Boilermakers.

Michigan was a winner at home 67-65 over Illinois in 3 overtimes moving them to 3-4-1 against the spread for the season.  Quarterback Denard Robinson completed 10 of 20 passes for 305 yards 3 touchdowns and 2 picks while carrying the ball 19 times for 62 yards before leaving the game.  Quarterback Tate Forcier came in and completed 12 of 19 passes for 114 yards 2 touchdowns a pick and a fumble also carrying the ball 7 times for 33 yards.  Roundtree’s big day was 9 catches for 246 yards and 2 touchdowns.  Vegas odds makers have Denard Robinson at +4500 odds to win the Heisman Trophy.

Purdue lost 34-13 at home to Wisconsin moving them to 2-6 against the spread for the season.  Quarterback Sean Robinson completed 19 of 38 passes for 141 yards and a touchdown but had 3 picks.  Purdue is 2-7 ATS in its last 9 games when playing Michigan and the total has gone OVER in 11 of Michigan’s last 15 games on the road.  Odds makers at BetUS have the over/under for the total score at 61 1/2 points combined of the Michigan Wolverines and Purdue Boilermakers.

I predict another Wolverine win on the road! Go Big Blue!
