Florida International Golden Panthers versus Toledo Rockets 2010 Little Caesars Bowl Odds, Preview, and Predictions:   Head football coach Tim Beckman will lead the Toledo Rockets to Ford Field to take on the Florida International Golden Panthers in the Little Caesars Bowl on Sunday night at 8:30 PM ET on ESPN.  The Rockets are 8-4 2nd in the MAC West and playing in their first bowl game since 2005 while the Golden Panthers are 6-6 1st in the Sunbelt and playing in their first bowl game ever.  “In just nine seasons, our team has become nationally competitive,” FIU President Mark Rosenberg said. “Our journey to Detroit represents the story of a university whose tradition has always been to turn the impossible into the inevitable.”

The Rockets are coming off a 42-31 victory over conference rival Central Michigan at home to move to 7-5 ATS for the season.  Quarterback Terrance Owens completed 24 of 32 passes for 304 yards and 3 touchdowns as well as rushing 6 times for 6 yards.  Eric Page completed 1 pass for 28 yards and a touchdown while catching 12 balls for 127 yards and 2 touchdowns.  Toledo is 5-1 SU in its last 6 games the total has gone OVER in 5 of Toledo’s last 7 games.

The Golden Panthers are coming off a close loss 28-27 against Middle Tennessee at home moving them to just 6-6 ATS for the season.  Quarterback Wesley Carroll completed 15 of 19 passes for 149 yards and a touchdown while rushing 5 times for an additional 22 yards.  Darian Mallary carried 15 times for 104 yards while Darriet Perry toted the ball 16 times for 53 yards and 2 touchdowns.  Florida International is 4-1 SU in its last 5 games.  Odds makers at Diamond have the over/under for the total score at 58 points combined of the Florida International Golden Panthers and Toledo Rockets.
