Boston College Eagles versus Nevada Wolf Pack 2011 Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl Odds, Preview, and Predictions:  Head football coach Frank Spaziani will lead the Boston College Eagles to AT&T Park to take on the Nevada Wolf Pack on Sunday night at 9:00 PM ET in the 2011 Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl.  The Eagles come in on a 5 game winning streak at 7-5 good for 4th place in the Atlantic Coast Atlantic while the Wolf Pack come into the game at 12-1 tied for first in the Western Athletic Conference.  This will be a defense versus offense matchup as the Eagles are 1st in the FBS in run defense giving up just over 80 yards per game while Nevada ranks 3rd overall with 535 yards total and 305 yards rushing mainly due to quarterback Colin Kaepernick who has 20 rushing and 20 passing touchdowns on the season.

“He is the leader of our team; there is no question about it,” Ault said of Kaepernick after a 35-17 win over Louisiana Tech on Dec. 4.  He makes plays. That’s what his legs do for us. He has done that throughout his career here. He is a pretty special guy.” “Coming out of high school I had only one scholarship offer and I just wanted to come in here and work hard,” Kaepernick said. “When I came in originally, I was not even a running quarterback, so a lot of the rushing stuff actually came as a surprise to me.”  Vegas odds makers have the Nevada Wolf Pack a -7 1/2 point favorite at AT&T Park against the Boston College Eagles.

Nevada is coming off a 35-17 win over Louisiana Tech on the road and finished the season 7-5 ATS.  Quarterback Colin Kaepernick completed 13 of 17 for 159 yards and rushing 20 times for an additional 155 yards and 3 touchdowns.  Running back Vai Taua carried 29 times for 162 yards and 2 touchdowns out of the Wolf Packs Pistol offense.  Nevada is 5-0 SU in its last 5 games.

Boston College is coming off a victory 16-7 on the road against Syracuse finishing the season at 5-6 ATS.  Quarterback Chase Rettig completed 11 of 19 passes for 110 yards and a pick while rushing 4 times for 13 yards.  The bulk of the load was carried by Andre Williams who rushed 42 times for 185 yards and a score.  The total has gone UNDER in 5 of Boston College’s last 5 games.  Odds makers at BetUS have the over/under for the total score at 55 points combined of the Boston College Eagles and Nevada Wolf Pack.

I predict a big Wolf Pack Win!
