Saturday, September 19th, 2015

Oklahoma St -24 over Texas San Antonio – This spread is a high one and Texas San Antonio did play Arizona tough in their season opener on the road in Tuscon before losing 42-32, but we simply don’t see this game being close at all. Texas San Antonio has one of the most inexperienced teams in the nation and it’s youth showed last week in losing 30-3 at Kansas State at home. Oklahoma State comes into this game 2-0 straight up but 0-2 ATS as it has beaten Central Michigan 24-13 on the road and Central Arkansas 32-8 at home. We look for Oklahoma State’s offense to break out on Saturday and enjoy a huge blowout win over a UTSA team that will be playing it’s toughest opponent yet.

Texas Tech @ Arkansas OVER 67.5 – Texas Tech is 2-0 and it’s offense has been absolutely unstoppable in two wins over cream puff opponents in beating UTEP 69-20 and Sam Houston St 59-45. The offense totaled 674 and 611 yards in both of those wins including 229 and 174 on the ground. On the flip side, Texas Tech’s defense has been brutal in allowing 414 and 671 total yards against two opponents who are not very good. Arkansas is coming off of an embarrassing 16-2 home loss to Toledo and they will be coming out in this game looking to take their frustration out on a Texas Tech team that is not as good as it’s record indicates. Arkansas’ offense should be unstoppable and Texas Tech’s offense will put up enough points to make this one go way over the total.

Missouri -20.5 over UConn – Both UConn and Missouri enter this week 2-0 overall but that’s where the comparisons end between these two schools. UConn went 2-10 overall last season and has started 2-0 this year by beating Army 22-17 and Villanova 20-15 at home. However, UConn’s offense has struggled to get the ball in the end zone in it’s first two games and now it’s going on the road to battle a Missouri team that fields one of the Top 15 defenses in all of college football in our opinion. Missouri has beaten SE Missouri 34-3 and Arkansas St 27-20 in it’s first two games and has allowed just 201 and 217 total yards defensively in those two wins. The Tigers defense is superb and should completely shut down UConn’s offense in this game. Look for Missouri’s offense to score 4-5 touchdowns and win this game going away and cover the spread.
