2015-2016-College-Football-National-Championship-Odds2015-2016 College Football National Championship Odds & Predictions – Ohio State the Favorite: The early odds to win the 2016 College Football National Championship for the 2015-2016 College Football season have been released by Bovada Sportsbook and the early favorite is Ohio State at 7/2 odds. The Buckeyes won the inaugural College Football Playoff last season for the school’s 8th National Championship and are a strong bet to get back to the 2016 College Football Playoff at minimum this season with a lot of returning talent from last year’s team. Let’s take a look at some of the favorites to win the 2016 College Football Playoff and take home the National Championship trophy this season along with our free college football picks to win the title.

2015-2016 College Football Season Favorites to Win the National Championship

Ohio State Buckeyes(7/2 odds)

Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer has 14 returning starters with 7 on each side of the ball this season. The Buckeyes are led by junior Heisman Trophy favorite running back Ezekiel Elliot and are loaded at quarterback with three returning studs in junior Cardale Jones, sophomore J.T. Barrett and senior Braxton Miller. At 7/2 odds in Las Vegas and online at Bovada Sportsbook the Buckeyes are a strong pick to win the National Championship again and should have no problem whatsoever winning the Big Ten and getting back to the College Football Playoff at minimum.

Alabama Crimson Tide(7/1 odds)

Alabama head coach Nick Saban is still getting the bad taste out of his mouth from the Tide’s embrassing 42-35 loss to Ohio State in last season’s College Football Playoff. Losing to Ohio State was nothing to be ashamed of but giving up 42 points and not being able to stop a nose bleed on defense was something that undoubtedly ate at Saban all offseason. However, Saban and Tide fans should rest easy because Alabama returns 7 starters defensively and will be adding plenty of former 5 star and 4 star talent into the mix on that side of the ball this season. Expect a much improved Alabama defense along with an extra hungry head coach in Saban this season. We love Alabama’s National Championship chances at 7/1 odds and firmly expect Alabama to win the SEC again and get back to the College Football Playoff for a potential rematch against Meyer and the Buckeyes.

TCU Horned Frogs(10/1 odds)

TCU head coach Gary Patterson should once again have TCU in the national spotlight all season long this year as he welcomes back 10 starters on offense and 5 starters on defense. TCU went 12-1 overall last season and many thought it was an absolute disgrace that they did not get a bid in the College Football Playoff. However, that was then and this is now and TCU should have no excuses this season as they will start the season in the Top 5 in all the polls and will most definitely get into the College Football Playoff if they simply run the table and take care of business. That includes handling Baylor instead of gagging away a 4th quarter 3 touchdown lead against the Bears like they did last year in Waco, Texas to coast them the Big 12 title outright and a bid in the College Football Playoff. At 10/1 odds to win the National Championship this season we like TCU to be in the hunt and have a real shot at winning.
