2011 SEC College Football Odds, Free Picks and Predictions – SEC West and East Division Odds and Lines

2011 SEC College Football Odds, Free Picks and Predictions – SEC Championship Vegas Odds and Betting Lines: Vegas odds to win the 2011 SEC Conference College Football Championship plus the SEC East and SEC West Division odds are now out and posted LIVE on NSAwins.com and vegas oddsmakers have made the Alabama Crimson Tide the +170 favorite to win the 2011 SEC College Football Conference Championship with Alabama listed as the -150 favorite to win the SEC’s West Division and the Florida Gators the +125 favorite to win the SEC’s East Division.

In the SEC East Division, the Florida Gators are the favorite and welcome in new head coach Will Muschamp to replace Urban Meyer as the new sheriff in Gainesville. Muschamp was a great coup for the Gators as he was expected to replace Mack Brown in Texas when Brown hung them up but the oppurtunity to grab the Gators job and coach in the #1 conference in College Football – the SEC – was simply too good to pass up. Muschamp welcomes back a talented roster but an underachieving cast based on last year’s results. The 2010 Gators went 8-5 overall and just 4-4 in the SEC including a loss to archrival Florida State. If the Gators are to rebound and capture the SEC’s East Division this 2011 College Football season than they must get better play out of returning starting signal caller John Brantley. Brantley is very talented but tossed just 9 touchdowns against 10 interceptions and must turn it around. Muschamp brought in offensive guru Charlie Weis to be the Gators new offensive coordinator and Weis is well known for getting maximum results out of his quarterbacks as he has coached the likes of Drew Bledsoe, Tom Brady, Brady Quinn and Matt Cassel over his coaching career.

In the SEC’s West Division Nick Saban’s Alabama Crimson Tide enter the 2011 College Football season as the -150 favorite according to the vegas oddsmakers, but many professional bettors and handicappers would argue that Les Miles’ LSU Tigers at +200 odds might be the team to beat. There’s no doubt Saban is still steaming over last season’s 28-27 collapse to it’s in-state rivals from Auburn and Saban even plastered “28-27 Never Again” in his team’s locker room to remind his players that last year’s 10-3 record is simply not good enough when you play your football in Tuscaloosa. Saban will have his 2011 Crimson Tide team more than capable of winning the SEC West but still must replace a load of talent that departed including quarterback Greg McElroy, running back Mark Ingram, wideout Juilius Jones and defensive end standout Marcell Dareus. Alabama does have capable replacements ready to go, however, as Saban has been hauling in top 10 recruiting classes since he arrived 5 years ago. Alabama has an edge in one regard against LSU as it hosts the Tigers on November 5th for what should be the deciding factor in who stakes claim to the SEC West Division this season.
