2010 ACC Championship and Division Football Odds and Predictions – Florida State, Miami the Favorites

Vegas odds to win the 2010 ACC Conference Football Championship plus Atlantic and Coastal Division odds are now posted on NSAwins.com and vegas oddsmakers have made Florida State and Miami-Florida the 5/2 +250 favorites to win the 2010 ACC Football Championship with Florida State listed as the +125 favorite to win the Atlantic Division and Miami-Florida the +125 favorite to win the Coastal Division. Florida State will be under new leadership this season, as 1st year head coach Jimbo Fisher will run the Seminoles sideline in place of retired legend Bobby Bowden. Fisher has implemented a lot of new rules and has changed the way the Seminoles conduct everything from study hall to offseason conditioning, as well as being on the field coaching instead of watching practices from the observation tower that Bobby Bowden copied from his idol Bear Bryant. The Seminoles defense will be coached by new defensive coordinator Mark Stoops, who has brought an NFL-type defensive scheme from the University of Arizona. The Seminoles offense should be outstanding led by returning starting senior quarterback Christian Ponder, the entire starting backfield and the entire offensive line from last season. The defense will be the big question mark as holes need to be filled and questions remain as to how the returning Noles will adapt to Stoops’ new defensive philosophy. In the Coastal Division, the Miami Hurricanes look strong as they return six starters on offense and eight starters on defense. The offense will be led by returning starting quarterback Jacory Harris but must find a way to replace three starters from last year’s offensive line. Hurricanes head coach Randy Shannon will have to replace tackles Jeff Fox and Matt Pipho and center A.J. Trump from last season’s 9-4 squad. On defense, the Canes look solid with 8 starters returning but will need somebody to step up as a playmaker that can make a play that can turn a game around. That has been lacking in the last few years for the Canes. NSAwins.com’s expert handicapper William E. Stockton likes Florida State to win the 2010 ACC Conference Championship this football season by beating archrival Miami in the 2010 ACC Championship game.
