NFL Power Rankings – Week 4 2010

After 3 weeks there are only 3 unbeaten teams left, parity reigns….  Not sure if Pittsburgh can run the table in the tough AFC North, but I know Kansas City and Chicago won’t be running any tables…  On to the rankings:

Rank/Team/W-L/Last Wk

HEAVYWEIGHTS/ THE MEN

1.Colts 2-1 (3) Relentless on offense and still can bring the pass rush.

2.Steelers 3-0 (7)Rediscovered their rushing game and defense with Big Ben sitting out.

3.Packers 2-1 (2) Their coach went brain dead repeatedly punting to Hester….  tool…

4.Saints 2-1 (1) Lost because they took the foot off the gas in OT and played for a FG….they were a 3.5 favorite and the football gods didn’t like them settling…

5.Jets 2-1 (6) If the Sanchise keeps playing like this, they will be a tough team to beat….

6.Ravens 2-1 (5) Not a good sign to struggle with the Brownies, but maybe they were looking ahead to this week’s grudge match with Pittsburgh.

7.Falcons 2-1 (14) They showed me something in winning at New Orleans…they shoulda lost, but they were in position to take advantage.

8.Texans 2-1 (4) What was that Houston?  Can  you say not-ready-for-primetime?

9.Cowboys 1-2 (15)  Son of Bum’s boys got back on track…

10.Eagles 2-1 (13) Michael Vick is still quick…  and giving life to this team.  With Chunky Soup coming in this week, the joint will be jumping..

11.Dolphins 2-1 (9) Don’t fret Fish fans, you’ll be able to hang 40 on New England’s sorry-ass D this week.

12.Vikings 1-2 (12) Only one more game to complete Fav-rah’s pre-season schedule…

MIDDLEWEIGHTS/THE BOYS

13. Patriots 2-1 (10) The only reason they are ranked this high is because the offense can score points, well, at least at home they can.

14.Chargers 1-2 (8) Two kickoff returns for touchdowns to the same guy?  Kick it out of bounds, Norv….

15.Bengals 2-1 (11)  Is Carson Palmer washed up already?

16.Titans 2-1 (17) Two wins against stiffs and one loss to a good Steeler team, can they beat Indy or Houston?

17.Bears 3-0 (18) Still not sold on Cutlet and this team, I’m sorry….

18.Chiefs 3-0 (19) New England fans are asking, why can’t we get coordinators like these?

19.Seahawks 2-1 (23) I wouldn’t get too pumped and jacked if I was a Seahag fan after watching that pass defense.

20.Cardinals 2-1 (25) Could the winner of the NFC West be sub-.500?  May just happen….

21.Bucs 2-1 (21) C’mon now, you didn’t really think this squad could beat Pittsburgh, did you?  Easiest money of last week…

22.Broncos 1-2 (20) 12 carries for 24 yds, yep, that’s the Lawrence Maroney Patriot fans know!

LIGHTWEIGHTS/THE MIDGETS

23.Giants 1-2 (16) Does the term G-Men stand for GAG-Men???

24.Redskins 1-2 (22) Shanny can’t polish some of the turds he has on this team like Albert Haynesworth…

25. Raiders 1-2 (26) RIP George Blanda.  Even at 83, he was probably a better option at QB than the stiffs they’ve trotted out recently…

26.Jags 1-2 (27) This team is really playing for Jack DelRio, aka Dead Man Walking, aren’t they?

27.Niners 0-3 (24) Wow, I guess Singletary IS over his head after all… when you axe Mike Martz for the great Jimmy Raye, and then axe him after 3 games, whose fault is it?

28.Rams 1-2 (32) Finally off the schneid and out of the cellar…

29.Browns 0-3 (31) A clueless owner, a over-rated GM, a rat bastard coach, a bum for a QB.  Other than that, they are superbowl-bound.

30.Bills 0-3 (30) Don’t get too excited about Fitzy at QB, Bill Fan, he was playing against a swiss-cheese NE defense.  A real defense is on tap this week.

31.Lions 0-3 (28) Will be better when Stafford is back playing…

32.Panthers 0-3 (29) This team is already quitting on their lame duck coach and may not win a game all year…
