NSAwins.com has posted it’s Week 6 College Football Power Rankings for the 2009 season. The following rankings are compiled by taking the Top 25 votes sent to us from NSAwins.com’s Sports Handicapping Experts(The LEGEND, Gerry “BIG CAT” Andino, Lou Panelli, Steve “SCOOP” Kendall, and William E. Stockton), as well as from NSAwins.com’s “FINAL SCORE REPORT” blog’s founders and contributing authors(Stephen G. and David E.). These rankings will be updated every monday throughout the College Football regular season and after the completion of the Bowl Season. Please keep in mind that these power rankings are based on current records and performances and not a prediction on how we think teams will end up at the end of the season or how two teams would fare if they
played one another. Below is the Week 6 College Football Top 25 power rankings from NSAwins.com.

NSAwins.com’s Week 6 College Football Top 25

This Week’s “SUPER 15″(Teams Ranked 1-15 in NSAwins.com’s Poll)

NOTE: ALL Records thru October 4, 2009
RK(LW), TEAM, RECORD
#1(1) Florida Gators 4-0 The Gators are -7.5 point favorites this saturday night at LSU in what should be the game of the year so far. The question is will Tebow play and, more importantly, will he be anywhere close to 100%?
#2(2) – Texas Longhorns 4-0 Now that OU has been exposed as a fraud, who on Texas’s schedule even has a chance at upsetting the Longhorns? Looks to us like the Halloween game at Oklahoma St is about all that stands in the way from the Horns reaching the Big 12 title game undefeated.
#3(4) – Alabama Crimson Tide 5-0 The Tide are 5-0 and none of the games have been close other than the opener vs a strong Va Tech club. The Tide play at Ole Miss this saturday and we don’t expect it to be close. Lay the points.
#4(3) – LSU Tigers 5-0 We had LSU ranked in the Top 5 since the preseason while the two big polls(AP, USA Today) had them 5-7 spots below. Well, the nation will find out saturday night why we had LSU so high as we expect the Tigers to give the Gators all they can handle and then some.
#5(6) – Virginia Tech Hokies 4-1 The Hokies are in great position to get to the BCS title game if it wins out and deservedly so. Frank Beamer’s boys played Alabama really well and beat an outstanding Nebraska team in non-conference play to prove they belong among the nation’s elite.
#6(7) – TCU Horned Frogs 4-0 The Horned Frogs are another team that we’ve been sky high on since the preseason. They crushed SMU 39-14 last saturday and are well on their way to running the table just like we predicted.
#7(9) – USC Trojans 4-1 The Trojans are a force when they come to play like they did saturday in a 30-3 win at Cal. Two weeks to prepare for the Irish before they travel to South Bend on Oct 17 for that showdown. Charlie Weis better get some sleeping pills because he should have nightmares trying to sleep before his overrated team gets embrassed in two weeks.
#8(8) – Ohio St Buckeyes 4-1 The Buckeyes destroyed yet another cream puff saturday by hammering Indiana 33-14. The Buckeyes have a really good team but we would just like them to confirm it by beating SOMEONE. It’s a shame the Big 10 stinks year after year after year. Too bad the Buckeyes didn’t play in the Big 12 against some real competition.
#9(24) – Miami Hurricanes 3-1 Great win saturday and cementing their status as one of the nation’s elite teams again by beating OU 21-20 in south florida. The Canes have now beaten Florida St, Georgia Tech, and Oklahoma and lost at Va Tech. This team is battle tested and should only keep getting better.
#10(10) – Boise St Broncos 5-0 Have you looked at Boise St’s schedule the rest of the way? What a joke. When your toughest game is at Tulsa than that there tells you that your schedule is an embrassment. It’s hard to back these guys when they never play ANYONE.
#11(11) – Cincinnati Bearcats 5-0 Speaking of easy schedules… We like Cincinnati and think the world of Brian Kelly as a coach, but can they please beef up the schedule? When Oregon St is your toughest nonleague game than you are not challenging your team when you have a legitemate Top 15 club. This team should breeze to 10-0 record before their final game at Pitt. PLAY SOMEONE NEXT YEAR PLEASE!
#12(12) – Oklahoma St 3-1 Bye week last saturday. Big 12 play starts this saturday at Texas A&M. We expect the Cowboys to be ready.
#13(13) – Kansas Jayhawks 4-0 Bye week last saturday. Big 12 play starts this saturday at home vs Iowa St. We still won’t find out exactly how good Kansas is until October 24 when it travels to Norman to take on the Sooners.
#14(14) – Oregon Ducks 4-1 This team just keeps on getting better every week. The Ducks are really playing well and play at UCLA this saturday in what should be a helluva Pac 10 game to watch.
#15(15) – Nebraska Cornhuskers 4-1 – The Huskers play at Missouri thursday night and will be looking for some BIG TIME revenge for getting embrassed 52-17 last year at home vs the Tigers. The Huskers will get it DONE and you heard it here first on the NSAwins.com “Betting Daily” blog. Free 20* WINNER from The LEGEND on Nebraska -3.5.

BEST of the REST(Teams Ranked 15-25)

#16(16) – Iowa Hawkeyes 4-0
#17(25) – Auburn Tigers 5-0
#18(18) – Ole Miss Rebels 3-1
#19(20) – Missouri Tigers 4-0
#20(21) – BYU Cougars 4-1
#21(22) – Penn St Nittany Lions 4-1
#22(5) – Oklahoma Sooners 2-2
#23(NR) – Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets 4-1
#24(NR) – South Florida Bulls 5-0
