Bruins @ Canucks Game 2 Free Tips and Bookie Odds – Stanley Cup Playoffs Tipsters Free Tips

Free Stanley Cup Finals Tips and Odds – Game 2 Boston Bruins @ Vancouver Canucks Free Tips and Odds and From Expert Stanley Cup Tipsters 6/4/11: Although coming up empty in game 1, the Boston Bruins can hinge their hopes on the fact that they outplayed the Vancouver Canucks for 59 minutes in game 1. The formidable defense of the Bruins held the Sedins and the rest of the Vancouver offense out of their zone for the majority of the tilt. This aggressive and smothering defensive game definitely wore on the Canucks as they started to commit careless penalties late in the game. Tim Thomas was solid when he had to be, but out of the 33 shots he faced only about 3 were definite scoring opportunities. With 18.5 seconds left, Thomas was dummied by a crisp cross-ice pass by Jannick Hansen to Raffi Torres in which Torres slid past the Bruins goaltender. The Bruins power play was punch less, but the effort was there. Roberto Lulongo dummied the PP unit on several occasions and they simply could not muster one past the Canucks net minder. It will be imperative in game 2 for the Bruins to jump out of the gates just as hot as they did so in game 1. The opportunities were definitely there for the bean town crew and it is just a matter of time before the production on the box score follows.

Roberto Lulongo was the story of game 1 and that performance garnered him the front runner in this years Conn Smythe race. Out of the 36 saves he made, twenty of them were genuine scoring opportunities and shut the door each time. For all of his previous playoffs’ of ineptness, Wednesday’s performance has thrown all of those out the window. Lulongo needs to hoist the cup over his head to book his ticket in the hockey hall of fame, a few more performances like game 1 will get the job done. The Sedins were baffled by an aggressive Boston defensive approach and there were signs that frustration was settling in. Hendrick Sedin took a careless high-sticking penalty that rendered his club down for four minutes, but Lulongo bailed him and his club out of that jam. It looks as though Manny Malholtra will see his first action in three months on Saturday night as he has been skating with the club since early this week. He has been given the green light to suit up by doctors and he will only go to strengthen the clubs offensive force. He provides a solid two-way presence and his special teams capabilities are next to none.

On Saturday night we will recommend a play on the OVER(Get the latest Bookie Odds from BODOG) as both clubs will look to ramp up the offensive production. Game 1’s of Stanley Cup finals are always low scoring as both clubs tend to feel each other out and shy away from over committing. Case in point Wednesday night, as both the Bruins and Canucks hinged their efforts on the back end of the ice rather then the front. Both clubs posses lethal offensive options and scoring is never an issue when the offenses are clicking on all cylinders. Lulongo was sensational in game 1, but he has issues following up great efforts with others. The Boston Bruins will be firing on all cylinders on Saturday night as they desperately do not want to return home in the hole two games. The Canucks will insert Manny Malholtra into the lineup, as per reports, and he will officially round out the four lines the Canucks put forth. He will be a valuable asset to the Canucks power play as he posses the ability to make the first pass and creates chances in front of the net. There is mounting pressure on the Sedin twins to perform and the public out cry is only going to motivate the Swedish stars. After being dummied in game 1 by a smothering defense, I expect the Sedins to be prepared to test the Bruins defense again and I expect them to get their chances. We will consider game two being a much more wide-open affair and I expect the offensive production to be there for both sides. Cheers!
