Stanford Cardinal -4 over USC Trojans – The PAC 12 Championship Game between Stanford and USC is a rematch from a regular season matchup that these two teams played back on September 19th. Stanford won that game in a high scoring affair 41-31 and are favored by -4 points today to get to the Rose Bowl and possibly the College Football Playoff if a few breaks go their way in other games around the country. Stanford is 10-2 overall as they enter this game after beating Notre Dame 38-36 last week at home. Stanford’s offense has been tremedmously improved this season from the past couple years as they are 20th in the nation in total scoring and have scored 30 or more points in their last 11 games. USC comes into this rematch 8-4 overall and seeking revenge for the loss back in September. USC is 5-1 in their last 6 games and have been playing their most consistent football of the season over the last month. Having said that, we look for Stanford to be too much for USC to handle and for Stanford to win this game by at least a touchdown. Lay the points.

San Diego St Aztecs -6 over Air Force Falcons – The Mountain West Championship Game pits the 9-3 San Diego Aztecs at home against the visting 8-4 Air Force Falcons. San Diego State head coach Rocky Long has his Aztecs playing superb football this season and they finished an unblemished 8-0 in Mountain West Conference play. San Diego State is a -6 point favorite in this title game and rightly so as San Diego State should win this game if they avoid costly turnovers. The Aztecs have a solid offense that is ranked 52nd in the nation in total scoring but their defense is outstanding as it is ranked 9th in the nation. Air Force has had a superb year themselves this season but they’ll have a hard time keeping drives alive and getting the ball in the end zone today against San Diego State’s defense that is very stout against the run and has only allowed 177 total yards rushing the last 3 games. Lay the points and take San Diego State -6 on the spread.

Michigan State vs Iowa OVER 49 points – The Big 10 title game should be the most entertaining and competitive championship game of the day in our opinion with the winner punching their bid to the College Football Playoff. The 11-1 Michigan State Spartans battle against the 12-0 Iowa Hawkeyes for the first time this season with everything on the line. The odds makers have installed Michigan State as a -3.5 point favorite and the total opened at 52.5 but is down to 49 points as this article goes to press. The total is what we are ready to bet on and take advantage of today as 49 points is great value playing the OVER as both offenses are very efficient and should be able to exploit defenses on both sides that are overrated in our opinion. Iowa has scored at least 27 points in 11 of their 12 games including 31 or more points in 8 wins. Iowa’s offense knows how to finish drives off and should continue that trend today against a Michigan State defense that has allowed 21 or more points in 8 games this season. On the flip side, Michigan State’s offense has scored 30 or more points in 8 games this season and can score on any defense in the nation when they are hitting on all cylinders and avoiding turnovers. This game is a no brainer OVER play and at 49 points the value is tremendous.
