Indianapolis minus 4.5 – Full disclosure, I am shamelessly on the Saints bandwagon and will be rooting hard for them.  Why?  While I respect the Colts and Peyton Manning, I despise Bill Polian and his constant whining….  Plus I admire the Saints and their fans and hope that they can get that title that the city deserves…I’d like to witness it.  However, having said all that, I just don’t see how New Orleans’ defense even slows down Manning.  I mean if Brett Fossil could go up and down the field on them, what will Manning do?  No one has stopped Manning this year and don’t see it starting on Sunday.  The Saints won’t get to Manning like they did to Favre. The only chance NO has is to score on every possession and hope Indy turns the ball over a few times.  Other than that, it will be an easy Colts victory.

Indianapolis/New Orleans Over 56.5- Unless a monsoon hits the Miami area on Sunday, the points should come fast and furious with these 2 high-octane offenses.  Both teams know they’ll have to put up a lot of points to overcome the other team’s ability to score.

Brett Fraud…err…Favre CHOKES Yet Again!
Another season, another epic Brett Favre gag job. Spare me the excuses for this guy already ok? I know, I know, there was no “guarantee” that the Vikings field goal kicker was going to kick a 56 yard field goal or that Favre would have been able to get it any closer than that had he tucked the ball and tried to run instead of throwing his patented idiotic throw into coverage with the game for the taking on sunday. Guess what? We’ll never know because the DIVA didn’t give his team the chance! In my eyes the Vikings would have had at least a 25% chance of nailing that kick. Longwell has the leg and he is one of the best kickers in the league from 50 yards plus. If I’m a Vikings fan, player or coach I am putting that loss on Favre. That interception completely took the air out of the Vikings and also gave the Saints life. Hate to say I told you so but I did. The guy is a GAGGER in the BIG games. Period.

Super Bowl XLIV… Can the Saints Defense Keep this Game Entertaining?
I have been saying all season the Saints are a FRAUD and to their credit they have proved me wrong… so far. However, after what I watched sunday against the Vikings, I simply have no faith in their defense being able to shut down Peyton Manning at all. The Saints defense is BRUTAL when they are not forcing turnovers. Manning can and will pick them apart. And unless Reggie Wayne, Dallas Clark and company bring butter on their gloves Super Bowl sunday, than I don’t expect the Colts to turn the ball over 4 plus times like the Vikings did this past sunday. Has anyone else realized the Saints still needed overtime AT HOME to beat Minnesota after getting all those turnovers? That is not likely to happen on Super Bowl sunday and that’s why the Colts should win by double digits.

NBA All Star Game Voting is a JOKE!
When Allen Iverson is a starter for the Eastern Conference in this year’s NBA All Star Game than it’s time to rethink the voting process, ok? What a joke. There is a reason why the NBA stands for “Nothing But Assholes”. Apparently, it trickles down to the fans. Now we know how this bonehead president we got in office got voted in. Must be the same MORONS that voted Allen Iverson in as a starter for the All Star Game! Was Rajon Rondo, Derek Rose and Mo Williams not on the ballot for these idiots? Because all three of those guys are vastly superior to AI these days. The NBA needs to get it’s act together. From the crooked refs to the all star game voting, it’s apparent this league can care less about the integrity of the game.

Indianapolis minus 7.5 – Don’t be fooled by NY’s run thus far, yes they’ve played good defense but they’ve had some luck too…  Folks will say the Jets played Indy close in the “rest-gate” game before they pulled the starters, but I say they had nothing to play for before they sent in the scrubs…  Will they make Indy work to score, sure….  but Indy’s defense is much better than San Diego’s and will shut down their run game like they did to Baltimore.  Revis is as good as advertised, but Manning will take what NY gives him and he’ll put up enough points…

NewYork/Indianapolis – Under 39 – I think most of the points will be Indy’s and they probably won’t score in the 30’s….

New Orleans minus 3.5 –   It is a major advantage to be the home team in a dome.  While Minnesota looked awesome last week, it will be their offensive line that will be at a disadvantage this week having to use silent counts…  Let’s see how the Vikings deal with the crowd noise and an explosive New Orleans offense…  The Vikings only shot is if they can pressure Brees like Dallas did a few weeks ago.  It is New Orleans’ year and I’m betting they find a way to neutralize the pass rush and put themselves in the big game against the Colts… 

New Orleans/Minnesota Over 53 – Both teams have too much firepower to have this game be a defensive struggle…

Mark McGwire’s mea culpa- Spare us the waterworks big guy, this wasn’t earthshattering news to anyone….  And while you’re at it, please quit insulting our intelligence with this crap about the roids not helping your strength and it was only to keep you healthy for 162 games.  Puhlease….  just say you took the juice to help all your warning-track flyballs go into the stands and be done with it…

Jose Offerman – Did you see this guy punch an umpire this weekend?  Hey, I played a lot of ball and I know some umpires can be the biggest a-holes, but c’mon Jose…  and this isn’t the first time he’s gone off on someone; didn’t he swing a bat at somebody a few years ago too?  Do we have a little anger problem?

Lane Kiffin- Hey, I don’t always agree with Al Davis, but perhaps he’s right about this Lane Kiffin character.  What a smug punk this guy turned out to be and Tennessee probably doesn’t know it now, but they’ll be better off in the long run without this fraud.  I mean other than his association with Pete Carroll and being Monte Kiffin’s son, what has this guy accomplished??  He’s just another self-centered coach looking for his next gig and will say and do anything to get it..  He should now be added to the Mount Rushmore of sleazy college coaches who slinked out of town to their next job along with Bobby Petrino, Nick Saban and Rich Rodriguez…..

NFL Playoffs – Other than San Diego’s gag job, the rest didn’t hurt the other bye teams, did it?  I don’t know if San Diego was rusty or they just choked like they have so many times before?  I do know that Norv Turner went brain dead at the end and the kicker could barely breathe, he was gagging so much….  Now we have to endure another week of that human-pelican-chin Rex Ryan tell us how nobody wanted to see them in AFC title game…at least he’s right about that!

…and as much as I’d like to blame Tony Romo for that abortion against the Vikings, I can’t.  His offensive line, that was supposed to be this great O-line, got smoked pure and simple and Romo was running for his life on every play…  Funny but we’ve been told the last few years how great Dallas’ and San Diego’s talent was, but they never seem to win anything, why is that? 

And while I would’ve loved to see Indy lose because I can’t stand Bill Polian, at least they knocked out the insufferable Ray Lewis and the Ravens..  I for one, wouldn’t be able to stomach all the superbowl hype about Ray Ray and his pregame dancing and promoting, not to mention his goofy post-game press conference hats…  and speaking of the Ravens, have you ever seen a coach whine about calls as much as Harbaugh?  Sure coach, the refs are out to get you, sure…

I think New Orleans is the team to beat and I am shamelessly on their bandwagon and hoping they prevent Manning, Fat Rex or Brett Fart from hoisting the Lombardi…please feel free to join me.
