2010 Preseason College Football USA Today Coaches’ Poll – Alabama Ranked #1

The Preseason 2010 USA Today Coaches’ Poll for the 2010 College Football season has been released and is now posted on NSAwins.com. Last season’s BCS National Championship winner, Alabama, will start out the 2010 NCAA season as the #1 ranked team with 55 first place votes. Nick Saban’s Alabama Crimson Tide has been given +400 odds to win the 2011 BCS National Championship this season. Coming in behind Alabama as the #2 ranked team in the preseason coaches’ poll is Jim Tressel’s Ohio State Buckeyes. The Buckeyes are led by 2010 Heisman hopeful Terrelle Pryor at quarterback and have the schedule and talent to make a legitemate run for the program’s 8th national football championship, while Pryor has +450 vegas odds to win the 2010 Heisman Trophy and become the 8th Heisman winner in Ohio St history. Rounding out the top 5 after Alabama and Ohio State are #3 Florida, #4 Texas and #5 Boise State. Florida and Texas both will be replacing legendary college football quarterbacks in the departed Tim Tebow and Colt McCoy, while Boise St appears set to challenge for a BCS National Championship behind returning Heisman candidate Kellen Moore at quarterback(+1300 odds to win Heisman). The preseason 2009 College Football USA Today poll has been officially released and the voters have made Florida the preseason #1 ranked team with 53 1st place votes. Urban Meyer’s Gators are the odds on favorite to win the BCS Title for the 3rd time in 4 seasons and have a team loaded with returning talent from last year’s BCS championship team, including the return of Heisman favorite Tim Tebow. The Longhorns are the #2 ranked team in the USA Today poll and received 4 1st place votes, while Oklahoma is the 3rd ranked team with 1 1st place vote, and USC is the 4th ranked team and also received 1 1st place vote.
