2015-Zurich-Classic-Odds-Free-Picks-and-Predictions2015 Zurich Classic Odds, Free Picks & Expert Predictions – Dustin Johnson the 8/1 Vegas Favorite to Win: The early PGA Tour betting odds to win the 2015 Zurich Classic this week have been posted at Bovada Sportsbook and the favorite to win this week is Dustin Johnson at 8/1 odds. The Zurich Classic will start on Thursday, April 23rd and will take place in New Orleans, Louisiana from the immaculate TPC of Louisiana course.

The Zurich Classic is an annual tournament that has taken place on the PGA Tour since it first began back in 1938. It first began in 1938 as the Crescent City Open and changed to the New Orleans Open in 1939. The tournament has been played under a variety of different names and sponsors since then but it has been called the Zurich Classic of New Orleans since 2005. The current Zurich Classic tournament is played on a Par 72 course under a stroke play format at the TPC of Louisiana course that stretches over 7,341 yards.

The Zurich Classic, as it is called now, has had 9 PGA Tour professionals win the event more than one time in it’s history since 1938. Those nine players are: Henry Picard(1939, 1941), Byron Nelson(1945, 1946), Bo Wininger(1962, 1963), Frank Beard(1966, 1971), Billy Casper(1958, 1975), Tom Watson(1980, 1981), Chip Beck(1988, 1992), Ben Crenshaw(1987, 1994) and Carlos Franco(1999, 2000). No player has won this event more than twice and there will be no chance of it happening this year as no two-time winner will be playing in the 2015 Zurich Classic.

The all-time scoring mark at this tournament was set by Chip Beck in 1988 when he shot a score of 262 to finish -26 under par. Last year’s Zurich Classic winner was South Korea’s Noh Seung-yul. Seung-yul won the Zurich Classic by shooting a total score of 269 to finish -19 under par. Seung-yul is listed at long shot 66/1 betting odds to win the 2015 Zurich Classic at Bovada.
