Tennessee Titans at Jacksonville Jaguars 2010 NFL Predictions, Odds, and Picks Week 6

Tennessee Titans at Jacksonville Jaguars 2010 NFL Predictions, Odds, and Picks Week 6:  Head football coach Jeff Fisher will take his 3-2 Tennessee Titans on the road to Jacksonville Municipal Stadium for a Monday Night Football game with the 3-2 Jacksonville Jaguars at 8:30 PM ET on ESPN.  Both teams missed the playoffs last season and are trying to turn things around to make it this year.  “It should be an exciting week for us,” Titans coach Jeff Fisher said of his team facing a division opponent for the first time in 2010. “It’s against a really good football team, at a tough place to play.”  The Jags star running back Maurice Jones-Drew looks like he will play after hurting his wrist last Sunday in the 4th quarter head football coach Jack Del Rio commented.  “It was kind of sore here, there, then all of a sudden it was fine,” Del Rio said. “Whatever was going on, he’s pretty quiet usually out there. He’s taken some shots and delivered some shots, and usually you don’t hear a whole lot (from him). He was making some noise, which made me concerned. But he’s fine.”  The odds makers at Brobury have the Tennessee Titans -3 point favorites on the road against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Titans are coming off a big win at Dallas 34-27 but their defense gave up 511 yards to the Dallas offense in the Victory.  Quarterback Vince Young completed 12 of 25 passes for 173 yards and 2 touchdowns hitting Kenny Britt 4 times for 86 yards and a touchdown.  All pro running back Chris Johnson carried 19 times for 133 yards and 2 touchdowns.  Tennessee is 5-2 SU in its last 7 games when playing Jacksonville.  Vegas odds makers have the Tennessee Titans as +3000 odds to win the 2011 Super Bowl.

The Jags are also coming off a win on the road 36-26 against the Buffalo Bills.  Quarterback David Garrard completed 16 of 20 passes for 178 yards 3 touchdowns and a pick and a fumble but hitting Marcedes Lewis with 4 passes for 54 yards and 2 TDs.  Maurice Jones-Drew carried the ball 19 times for 84 yards before going out with the injury.  Jacksonville is 7-3 SU in its last 10 games at home and the total has gone UNDER in 4 of Jacksonville’s last 6 games when playing Tennessee.  Vegas odds makers have the over/under for the total score at 45 points combined of the Tennessee Titans and Jacksonville Jaguars.
