New York Jets at New England Patriots 2010 NFL Predictions, Odds, and Picks Week 13:  Head football coach Rex Ryan will lead the New York Jets to Gillette Stadium to take on the New England Patriots on Monday Night Football at 8:30 PM ET.  The Jets are and Patriots are tied at 9-2 but the Jets lead due to their early victory over New England making this an important game if the Pats hope to win the division.  New England is 5-0 at home while the Jets are 5-0 on the road this season.  “We’ve got a good opportunity here ahead of us,” Patriots coach Bill Belichick said. “So, we’re going to relax here, kick back for a couple days, try to take this opportunity to rest and spend a little time with our families and be ready to roll here next week with the Jets.”  New York won their first matchup 28-14 at the Meadowlands.  “I watched that game (Thursday),” Ryan said. “Obviously, they’re playing great. They’re making big plays on defense, but their offense, that’s where you start with. They seemed at times, almost looked like they were unstoppable. I’m pretty confident where our team is right now. The New England Patriots are coming off a victory 45-24 on Thanksgiving Day at the Detroit Lions moving them to 6-4-1 ATS for the season.  Quarterback Tom Brady completed 21 of 27 passes for 341 yards and 4 touchdowns connecting with Deion Branch with 3 balls for 113 yards and Wes Welker with 8 for 90 yards and 2 scores a piece.  Running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis continued to impress with 12 carries for 59 yards and 2 scores.  The total has gone OVER in 5 of New England’s last 6 games at home.  Vegas odds makers have the over/under for the total score at 44 1/2 points combined of the New York Jets and New England Patriots.
