From the Observation Deck… Oct. 25, 2010

Belichick’s Decision– The Hooded One was at it again yesterday going for it on 4th and short…  this time from the 49 yd line instead of his own 28.  I defended his decision last year against the Colts, but think the decision at San Diego was downright idiotic..  first of all, last year’s defense was out of gas and not stopping Manning, okay?  The Chargers are not the Colts and this years defense is much better.     He basically gave SD a short field to work with and a better-than-average chance to punch in a TD and win the game outright.  I’d rather take my chances with punting inside the 15 or so and making them go 60 yards to get into FG range and 80 plus to score a TD.  Just a stupid decision…but no one on the coaching staff or in the locker room will go up to him and say “What the hell are you doing?”  Enough already….

Favre Saga-After the latest pick-a-thon last night, even the Bald Guy who plays the Minnesota head coach called him out for his stupidity.  This is getting to be pretty good drama…the spat with the Bald Guy….his texting his junk to a female Jets reporter….not to mention the shit he must be getting at home!  Speaking of which, is it just me or does that Jenn Sterger or whatever her name is look just like a younger Deanna Favre?  And what’s wrong with that?  He likes driving the same model car, but he just wants a newer version…

Yankee Collapse – It never gets old seeing the NY Yankees collapse and their ball-washing media turn on them.  Now they fire their pitching coach…LOL…  that’s like blaming the chef on the Titanic for hitting that iceberg…

Stern’s Warning – David Stern is trying to cut salaries by a third, claiming the NBA is losing too much money…hey, good luck with that…  the horse is out of the barn, dude.   When owners sell or go into bankruptcy, I’ll buy the BS…   This is the same commish who had wholesale corruption going on with his referees and instead of cleaning it up, he comes out with harsher technical foul rules so the players can’t question calls.  Well, if the refs were throwing games to win bets, why wouldn’t you question lots of calls if you were a player getting hosed?  Sounds like a dictatorship to me.
