THE PIGSKIN GUY’S Free Football Picks for Sunday 12/27/09
Clemson -6.5(College) – Clemson is the better team hands down and will bounce back strong from a disappointing finish to the season with back-to-back losses to Ga Tech and South Carolina.
New England -9.5(NFL) – The Jaguars have lost 3 out of 4 when they had put themselves in prime position to make a playoff run. What leads anyone to believe they will play well today against a good Patriots team in the cold? I don’t see it happening. Pats by 2 TD’s.
NY Giants -9(NFL) – Carolina is up and down every week and now they travel to New York after a surprising win at home versus Minnesota to take on a Giants team that CANNOT lose one more game if they want to make the playoffs. This has ROUT written all over it.
Miami -1(NFL) – Miami can still sneak into the AFC playoffs if they win out and I just don’t see a mediocre Houston team being able to keep it together on the road in a must win game for both teams. The home field will be the deciding factor. Miami by a field goal.
Kansas City +13.5(NFL) – Cincinnati has 9 wins but most have been by the single digit variety. Cincinnati’s offense just hasn’t been able to distance itself from it’s opponents all year and I look for a bad KC team to somehow keep the score to 10 points or less today.
Green Bay -13.5(NFL) – Tough loss last week at Pitt for the Packers and I look for them to take out their frustration on a charmin SOFT Seahags team today. Packers in a BLOWOUT.

Texas A&M +7.5(College Football) – I love taking 6-6 bowl teams because they have more to play for than their opponent because a loss would actually give them a losing record on the season. I believe 6-6 teams are undefeated this bowl season and Texas A&M will keep the trend going monday night vs a mediocre Georgia team.
Chicago +7.5(Monday Night NFL) – The Bears are BRUTAL but the weather will be FRIGID and Minnesota, for whatever reason, has struggled mightily at Chicago over the past handful of years. The Vikes win but the Bears keep it close enough to cover.
