I think without doubt that the 2 best teams are in the game, I just hope they put on a competitive, entertaining game for us. So, onto the final picks for the season…. Indianapolis minus 4.5 – Full disclosure, I am shamelessly on the Saints bandwagon and will be rooting hard for them. Why? While I respect the Colts and Peyton Manning, I despise Bill Polian and his constant whining…. Plus I admire the Saints and their fans and hope that they can get that title that the city deserves…I’d like to witness it. However, having said all that, I just don’t see how New Orleans’ defense even slows down Manning. I mean if Brett Fossil could go up and down the field on them, what will Manning do? No one has stopped Manning this year and don’t see it starting on Sunday. The Saints won’t get to Manning like they did to Favre. The only chance NO has is to score on every possession and hope Indy turns the ball over a few times. Other than that, it will be an easy Colts victory.
Indianapolis/New Orleans Over 56.5- Unless a monsoon hits the Miami area on Sunday, the points should come fast and furious with these 2 high-octane offenses. Both teams know they’ll have to put up a lot of points to overcome the other team’s ability to score.
