2018 Super Bowl LII Odds & Predictions – Early Vegas Favorites to Win Super Bowl 52

New England Patriots(+400 odds to win Super Bowl 52) – It seems like the New England Patriots are the favorites to win the Super Bowl every year and, frankly, it’s tough to argue against it most of the time. The Patriots are coming off of their 2nd Super Bowl win in the last three years and will be trying to become the first repeat Super Bowl Champion since they finished off their 3rd Super Bowl win in 4 years back in the 2001-2004 Patriots dynasty era that saw them win the Lombardi in 2001, 2003 and 2004. The Patriots head into free agency with $66 million of cap space and look poised to field an even better team in 2017 than they had last year. The rumors swirling now are they might trade backup quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo for a 1st round pick in the upcoming NFL draft and that will only help bolster an already talented roster. Barring a drastic decline by Tom Brady at age 40 next season, it’s tough to see New England not getting back to the Super Bowl in the AFC.

Dallas Cowboys(+750 odds to win Super Bowl 52) – The Dallas Cowboys have not made or won the Super Bowl since the 1995 season but things are looking up big time in Big D after Jerry Jones and company hit the jackpot last NFL Draft with quarterback Dak Prescott and running back Ezekiel Elliott. The Cowboys seem to be set at quarterback and running back for many years to come and they have arguably the NFL’s best offensive line to go along with them. The Cowboys won the NFC East last season but slipped up in their Divisional Round Playoff game at home against Green Bay but that experience should help them going forward into the 2017 season. If the Cowboys can land another stellar draft class in the upcoming NFL Draft and bolster their mediocre defense than the sky is the limit for “America’s Team” in 2017. Don’t be shocked if the Cowboys make it to the franchise’s 9th Super Bowl at Super Bowl 52.

Green Bay Packers(+1400 odds to win Super Bowl 52) – The Green Bay Packers are always amongst the favorites to win the Super Bowl with the game’s best quarterback, Aaron Rodgers, under center. Brady may have 5 Super Bowl rings and be the all-time GOAT but nobody plays the position at a higher level than Rodgers and it’s a shame that he’s only been to one Super Bowl primarily because of a weak Green Bay Packers defense failing him most years. The Packers defense has been atrocious the past few years and that’s been the Achilles heel of the squad in it’s hopes of getting to the Super Bowl out of the always tough NFC. The time is ticking on Rodgers’ prime NFL years as he’ll be 34 years old by the time the 2018 NFL Playoffs start and the Green Bay front office needs to have a stellar NFL Draft and free agency period to give Rodgers the defensive help he needs to get the Packers back to the big game. He is far too great to not win at least three Super Bowl rings before his career is up.
