Last season’s NFL MVP, Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton, has been given the next best odds at +700 to repeat as NFL MVP this 2016 season. 2016 NFL MVP Odds & Predictions – Top 3 Favorites to Win AP NFL MVP Award

Aaron Rodgers(Green Bay Packers Quarterback, +575 odds to win NFL MVP) – Aaron Rodgers is arguably the best player in the NFL and has done pretty much all there is to do so far in his Hall of Fame career. The 32 year-old all pro won the NFL MVP in 2011 and 2014 and is coming off of another superb season last year when he passed for 3,821 yards and 31 touchdowns while only throwing 8 interceptions. Surprisingly, Rodgers posted his lowest passing rating in his career since taking over the Packers starting job in 2008 as his rating was only 92.7 last season. Rodgers has a solid team around him this 2016 season and he should easily get back to his norm of a 100 plus passer rating and will be one of the top NFL MVP favorites all season long.

Cam Newton(Carolina Panthers Quarterback, +700 odds to win NFL MVP) – Cam Newton was clearly the best player in the NFL last season and won his first and very well deserved NFL MVP award. Newton was absolutely a thing of beauty to watch last season as he dominated in the air and on the ground as he almost led the Panthers to a perfect regular season and carried them to the Super Bowl. The 27 year-old physical specimen tossed for 3837 yards and 35 touchdowns last season and only thre 10 interceptions. Newton posted his best passer rating of his career as he finished with a 99.4 rating. Newton also rushed for 636 yards on 132 carries with 10 touchdowns. Newton will be a top threat to win the NFL MVP again this season.

Tom Brady(New England Patriots Quarterback, +1200 odds to win NFL MVP) – Tom Brady is the greatest quarterback of all-time in our opinion and has shown no signs of slowing down anytime soon even though he turned 39 years-old today. Brady has done everything you can do in the NFL over his career including winning the Super Bowl 4 times, the Super Bowl MVP three times and the NFL MVP two times. Brady is going to be more motivated than ever this season as he’ll have to serve a 4 game suspension for the overblown and ridiculous witch hunt known as “Deflate-gate” but he will come back to a Patriots offense stacked with weapons including a double tight end monster in Rob Gronkowski and Martellus Bennett. We look for Brady to set the league on fire upon his return and post the best stats in the league over the final 12 weeks. This guy is that good. Still.
