Miami Dolphins +10.5 over New England Patriots – If the New England Patriots were fielding a somewhat healthy roster than this game would be no contest and we’d be talking about New England being the clear cut favorite to not only win the AFC but also their 5th Super Bowl in the Bill Belichick/Tom Brady era. However, that’s not the case and the Patriots are dealing with a slew of injuries on both sides of the ball that will keep out Julian Edelman, Sebastian Vollmer, Dont’a Hightower and Chandler Jones tomorrow. The Patriots still have enough overall talent to win this game outright over the reeling Dolphins and lock up the #1 overall seed in the AFC Playoffs but don’t expect the Dolphins to just lay down to their AFC East division rivals in front of their home crowd. This game will be a lot closer than the spread suggests and it wouldn’t surprises us at all if Miami has the ball late in the 4th quarter with a chance to pull out the huge upset win. Take Miami plus the +10.5 points on the spread to cover.

Oakland Raiders +7.5 over Kansas City Chiefs – The Kansas City Chiefs have won 9 games in a row since starting off the 2015 NFL season 1-5 overall and are still in the hunt to win the AFC West Division if the San Diego Chargers can somehow upset the Denver Broncos. However, the Chiefs will have their hands full in their season finale at home against their arch rivals the Oakland Raiders. The Raiders come in 7-8 overall and are trying to close out the season at a respectable 8-8 .500 and would love for nothing more than to kill any chance the Chiefs have of winning the AFC West. The Raiders lost to the Chiefs 34-20 at home 4 weeks ago on December 6th and will try and return the favor to the Chiefs in their home stadium where the Raiders last won back in 2012. Take the Raiders +7.5 points on the spread as this is a competitive division rivalry and the Raiders will be bringing plenty of motivation to split the season series and serve notice to the rest of the NFL that they are on their way back and that they should be a contender for the AFC West title next season.

San Diego Chargers +10 over Denver Broncos – The Denver Broncos are 11-4 overall after beating the Cincinnati Bengals 20-17 at home last Monday night and can wrap up a #2 seed and bye in the AFC Playoffs and potentially the #1 overall seed if they win and New England loses. The Broncos have plenty to play for on Sunday and will be battling a Chargers team that’s 4-11 overall and winding down a forgettable season. Having said that, don’t expect the Chargers to just roll over an let the Donkeys walk all over them as they would love for nothing better than to beat Denver outright and cost them not only a bye but the AFC West Division title if Kansas City wins. The Chargers were very competitive against the Broncos in a 17-3 loss 4 weeks ago in San Diego as they were only outgained 293-272 but lost because they lost the turnover battle -2. The Chargers can definitely hang around in this game and keep Denver’s pedestrian offense in check and if Philip Rivers can somehow get the ball in the end zone a couple of times on Sunday than don’t be shocked if the Chargers win outright. Take the points.
