Seattle Seahawks pk over Minnesota Vikings – The Seattle Seahawks enter this week 13 matchup with the Minnesota Vikings 6-5 overall and winners in 4 of their last 5 games after last week’s 39-30 home win over Pittsburgh. The Seahawks have showed they can hang and compete with the best teams in the league as their last three losses were very competitive to three of the best teams in the league in Cincinnati(27-24 loss), Carolina(27-23 loss) and Arizona(39-32 loss). The Seahawks are in survival mode right now as they try and compete for a NFC Wild Card spot and should be a tough out from here on out including this week at Minnesota. The Vikings enter this game 8-3 overall and atop the NFC North Division after winning last week on the road at Atlanta 20-10. We like Seattle in this matchup this week as they have played a much tougher schedule and we still have doubts about Minnesota as they haven’t beaten one team yet that we feel will be in the AFC or NFC playoffs.

New England Patriots -10 over Philadelphia Eagles – Yes, we know all about the long list of injuries to key starters on both sides of the football for the New England Patriots as they look to bounce back from their first loss of the season this Sunday. However, it won’t matter as they still have plenty of talent available plus, more importantly, will compete extra hard this week at home while we can’t say the same for the free falling Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles were thoroughly embarrassed on Thanksgiving day at Detroit to the tune of 45-14 and we don’t expect them to bounce back anytime soon. The word in Philadelphia is the team has quit on head coach Chip Kelly and we expect the final 5 games of their 2015 season to be brutally ugly. Lay the points with head coach Bill Belichick and quarterback Tom Brady to get New England back in the win column and win big on Sunday in Foxboro.

New Orleans Saints +7.5 over Carolina Panthers – On paper this game looks to be a big time mismatch but we like the Saints getting +7.5 at home against a division rival looking to remain perfect. Let’s face it, the Saints have basically no shot at a wild card berth but they have a lot of pride and still have an excellent head coach in Sean Payton and Hall of Fame quarterback in Drew Brees. They would love for nothing better than to upset Carolina this Sunday and ruin their dreams of a perfect season. The Saints defense is abysmal but the offense still has plenty of fire power and they’ll be chomping at the bit this Sunday after getting shut down the last two weeks against Houston and Washington on the road. However, the Saints are a different animal offensively in the dome and we expect them to put up more than enough points this Sunday to give Carolina a real scare and won’t be surprised if the Saints win outright. Take the +7.5 points with the home underdog.
