2015-NFL-AFC-South-Division-Predictions-and-Odds2015 AFC South Division Predictions & Odds to Win – NFL Expert Picks to Win AFC South: The preseason NFL odds to win the AFC South Division for this upcoming 2015-2016 NFL season have been announced by Bovada Sportsbook and the Indianapolis Colts are listed as the -400 favorites to win. Let’s take a look at the AFC South Division for this NFL season and make our expert NFL predictions on who we see winning the division as well as forecasting each AFC South team’s record this season

2015 AFC South Division Predictions and Odds to Win

1. Indianapolis Colts(-400 odds to win AFC South Division at Bovada) – Head coach Chuck Pagano and quarterback Andrew Luck make up one of the best head coach/quarterback combos in the NFL and the Colts have won 11 games each of the last three seasons. However, a butter soft defense has been holding them back and especially against their nemesis the New England Patriots. The Patriots stomped the Colts out of the AFC Championship Game 45-7 last January and the Colts have done little, in our opinion, to fix their defense up to a level that can compete and slow down great offenses and quarterbacks like the Patriots and Tom Brady. Look for the Colts to once again have little trouble winning the AFC South but the jury is still definitely out one whether they can navigate the AFC Playoffs and get to the Super Bowl. 2015 Projected Record for Indianapolis Colts: 12-4

2. Houston Texans(+450 odds to win AFC South Division at Bovada) – Head coach Bill O’Brien had a fantastic rookie season last year in H-town as he led the Texans to a 9-7 record from a 2-14 record in 2013. Can they make the next jump and get into the AFC Playoffs this season? We think they definitely can and will. The Texans added solid veteran quarterback Brian Hoyer to help game manage the offense while the defense added veteran nose tackle Vince Wilfork to an already stacked defensive line including arguably the NFL’s best overall player in end J.J. Watt. The defense was only ranked the 16th overall unit in the NFL last season and that should improve this season into the Top 10 at minimum, while we see the offense overcoming the loss of wide receiver Andre Johnson and doing just enough weekly to keep the Texans on the winning side more times than not. 2015 Projected Record for Houston Texans: 10-6

3. Jacksonville Jaguars(+1600 odds to win AFC South Division at Bovada) – The Jaguars have consistently been one of the NFL’s bottom feeders for years now and have only won 14 games total over the last 4 seasons. We certainly don’t see them making that big of a jump this season but we do feel they are improving even if it won’t necessarily translate into more wins this year. The offense should be improved with the additions of tight end Julius Thomas and center Stefen Wisniewski in free agency plus running back T.J. Yeldon in the NFL draft. However, the bad news is the defense will continue to struggle and especially after their 1st rd pick Dante Fowler Jr. blew out his ACL in rookie minicamp and is out for the entire season. 2015 Projected Record for Jacksonville Jaguars: 4-12

4. Tennessee Titans(+1400 odds to win AFC South Division at Bovada) – The Titans only went 2-14 in the first season under head coach Ken Whisenhunt and we don’t see them being much better in year two. This could and should be Whisenhunt’s last season as the head coach in Nashville as he simply isn’t that good and should stick to simply being an offensive coordinator. The Titans used the #2 pick in the NFL draft to draft quarterback Marcus Mariotta but he is not ready to be a starting NFL quarterback and should struggle mightily this season. There simply isn’t much to get us excited or confident about Tennessee’s chances this season and we can’t see them winning more than 3-4 games at most. It will be another LONG year for the suffering fans of the Titans. 2015 Projected Record for Tennessee Titans: 3-13
