2011 OneMain Financial 200 Preview – Favorites to Win and Drivers to Watch

2011 OneMain Financial 200 Odds, Predictions, Betting Tips and Free Picks – Favorites and Lines to Win the OneMain Financial 200: Last fall, Kyle Busch was nearly perfect on his way to an impressive victory at Dover International Speedway. He led an amazing 192 of the 200 laps, and he and his Joe Gibbs Racing teammate Joey Logano finished first and second. Ryan Newman led five laps and was the only driver other than Busch or Logano to pace the field.

Earlier this year, Carl Edwards came on strong in the late stages of the race to secure an easy victory. He led a race-high 87 laps and outlasted Kyle Busch to seal the win. Joey Logano, Clint Bowyer and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. all led for portions of the race, but none of them were factors in the closing laps.

The Favorites – 2011 OneMain Financial 200 Odds, Predictions and Free Picks

He is going for a season sweep at Dover this weekend, and based on his recent record at the track, Carl Edwards could get the job done. He has nine straight finishes of 11th or better, finishing sixth or better eight times during the stretch. Edwards has finished in the top five in his last three fall races at Dover, and he is almost a lock to be in the mix for the win this weekend.

Auto Racing

In his last eight starts at Dover, Brad Keselowski has finished seventh or better six times. He has three top-three finishes during the stretch, including a win in 2009. Keselowski’s recent surge in the Cup Series has been accompanied by several victories at the Nationwide level, and his overall value is at an all-time high these days.

Joey Logano has never finished outside the top 15 in five career starts at Dover at the Nationwide level. He has never won at the track either, but he has finished second on two different occasions. Logano has been close to winning several times in 2011, and this could be his time to cash in.

The Dark Horses – 2011 OneMain Financial Lines, Preview and Expert Picks

He has finished outside the top 10 in his last two starts at Dover, but Clint Bowyer could still make some noise this weekend. He has a two-time winner at the track in the Nationwide Series, and he has finished inside the top four on five separate occasions. Bowyer hasn’t been as consistent as some other big names, but he is certainly capable of winning.

Although he has never won at Dover, Reed Sorenson always seems to be running near the front at the track. In 10 career starts, he has finished in the top 10 nine times. More importantly, he has six career top-five finishes and has finished fourth or better in his last three starts. Sorenson could pull the upset this weekend.

Sleepers Specials – 2011 OneMain Financial 200 Vegas Odds, Expert Predictions and Free Picks

He has only made three starts at Dover, but Ricky Stenhouse Jr. has improved in each start at the track. Earlier this year, he finished a career-best fourth at the track, which could be the sign of what’s to come this weekend. Stenhouse Jr. has been able to beat the Cup drivers multiple times this year, and he could do it again this weekend.

An illness kept him out of the race at Dover earlier this year, but last fall, Trevor Bayne showed some muscle at the track. He finished a career-best sixth in the fall of 2010, and if he has a similar run this weekend, Bayne should be in the mix.

Big Names to Avoid – 2011 OneMain Financial 200 Betting Odds, Predictions and Free NASCAR Picks

Kasey Kahne hasn’t had a lot of luck at Dover in any series, but the Nationwide Series has been particularly rough. He has just one top-10 finish in his last five starts at the track, and he hasn’t had a top-five finish since 2004. Kahne is a big name, but he doesn’t provide big results at Dover.

He has pulled several upsets in his career, but Justin Allgaier has never been able to make many waves at Dover. He has finished outside the top 15 in three of his five starts at the track, and he has never finished better than ninth. Allgaier is one of the best Nationwide regulars, but he doesn’t have a feel for Dover yet.
