2011 Good Sam RV Insurance 500 Breakdown – Beating the Odds: Who to Bet On

2011 Good Sam RV Insurance 500 Betting Odds Breakdown – Who to Bet On and How to Win Money on the Good Sam RV Insurance 500:Paul Menard could be a steal again this weekend at Pocono. His 50/1 odds translate to a nice payout for bettors, and he has been trending in the right direction at the track. He has finished 16th or better in three straight starts, including back-to-back top-15 finishes. For what it’s worth, Menard had very similar numbers at the Brickyard prior to his win.

It has been a long, forgettable year for Brian Vickers, but he has also been comfortable at Pocono. He has finished in the top 15 in eight of his 13 starts at the track, including four finishes of fourth or better. At his current 65/1 odds to win, bettors may want to take a chance on Vickers ending his slump in a big way this weekend.

A 12th-place finish at Pocono in June gave Kasey Kahne five top-15 finishes at the track in his last seven starts. More importantly, he has a win at the track during the stretch. Kahne is also in position to make the Chase if he can notch just one victory. The extra motivation could be what the No. 4 team needs to get the job done, and at Kahne’s 30/1, bettors will want a piece of the action.

Although he has notched a pair of top-three finishes in his last three starts at Pocono, Kyle Busch is a bit overrated at his current 10/1 odds. He is getting the same odds as his older brother Kurt and Carl Edwards, who are both former winners at the track. Busch is definitely improving, but the oddsmakers have him among the favorites when he hasn’t quite earned the status yet.

He has been one of the more consistent drivers at Pocono, but Matt Kenseth isn’t exactly a threat to win. He has never visited Victory Lane at the track, and he hasn’t finished in the top five in his last 10 starts. At 15/1 odds, bettors need to be getting a driver with a real shot at winning, and that simply isn’t Kenseth this weekend.

Considering all the upsets that keep happening, bettors may want to take a chance on Regan Smith this weekend. His 150/1 odds make him a longshot to win, but he already notched his first career win this season and finished third last weekend at Indy. Smith also notched a career-best 15th-place finish at Pocono in June.
