Texas Tech +3 over Oklahoma State – The Oklahoma State Cowboys come into this week’s road game at Texas Tech as one of the handful of unbeaten teams left in the nation at 7-0 overall. However, our money is going down against them as we feel they will lose outright this week against a very solid Texas Tech team. The Texas Tech Red Raiders are 5-3 overall but all three of their losses came against high quality teams in Baylor, TCU and Oklahoma. The Red Raiders are battle tested and we feel they too would be 7-0 if they had Oklahoma State’s schedule this season. The Cowboys have basically beaten nobody better than Texas Tech and are nowhere near as good as their record indicates. Texas Tech hasn’t beaten Oklahoma State since 2008 but have the nation’s 3rd most prolific offense and will be able to go blow for blow with Oklahoma State’s 11th ranked offense all day Saturday. Give us the +3 points with Texas Tech as not only are they at home and getting points, but we truly feel they are every bit as good as Oklahoma State.

Boise State -20 over UNLV – Boise State takes it’s 6-2 overall record on the road to take on the 2-5 UNLV Rebels Saturday afternoon at Turf of Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas. Can you say mismatch? This game looks and smells like a blowout on paper and our money is going down on it being an absolute woodshed beating on the field. Boise State’s offense is averaging 38 points per game and should have it’s way on Saturday against UNLV’s 75th ranked defense. Boise State has scored 41 or more points four times this season already and should hang 40 plus easily on Saturday. Meanwhile, Boise State’s defense is ranked 18th in the nation and should have no problem containing UNLV’s mediocre offense that comes in rated 73rd in the country. UNLV’s defense has had a hard time stopping the run this season and Boise State should have a big game on the ground and control this game as they’ve ran the ball for 200 plus yards in 3 of their last 4 games. Look for an easy 4-5 touchdown win by Boise State. Lay the points.

Georgia Tech -6 over Virginia – Georgia Tech stopped the bleeding big time last week as they snapped a 5 game losing streak with a huge upset win over Florida State at home. The Yellow Jackets are now 3-5 overall and have regained some much needed confidence heading into their road game this Saturday against a struggling Virginia team that is 2-5 overall. The Yellow Jackets are far too talented and well coached to be 3-5 overall right now but they have a chance to get on a roll and salvage their season and get to a bowl game. They must take care of business against inferior teams like Virginia who they pasted 35-10 last season and should be able to win going away this year. Georgia Tech’s power running game should have a field day against a terrible Virginia defense that’s had a tough go of it stopping the run all season. This line is a gift at -6 as this game should be over early as Georgia Tech’s offense should be hanging touchdown’s up all game long. Lay the points.
