Cincinnati +8.5 over Houston – Head coach Tommy Tubberville has his Cincinnati Bearcats playing their best football of the season coming into this showdown with undefeated Houston and ready to pull of an outright upset. The Bearcats are 5-3 overall and coming off of two blowout wins over Central Florida and Connecticut in which they outscored them by a combined 89-20 total. Cincinnati’s offense is ranked 16th in the nation in total scoring and are absolutely firing on all cylinders at the moment. They put up a ridiculous 726 total yards of offense last week against Central Florida and 612 total yards the week prior against UConn. Houston comes in to this game 8-0 overall and off of a dominating 34-0 win at home last week against Vanderbilt. We like Cincinnati in this matchup Saturday getting +8.5 points as they matchup really week against Houston and have put up 500 yards of offense in each of the last two seasons and are 2-0 against Houston the last two years. Take the points as Cincinnati should cover and possibly win outright.

Duke +8 over North Carolina – The Duke Blue Devils enter this week 6-2 overall and still controlling it’s own destiny in the ACC but reeling after getting absolutely hosed last week on a last second multi-lateral play against Miami-Fl to lose 30-27. Duke should have won the game but a botched call by a terrible referee crew stole the win from them and now they’ll head to Chapel Hill against their arch rival North Carolina Tar Heels looking to get revenge for last season’s 45-20 loss at home. Duke has been outstanding this season defensively as they are 11th in the nation in scoring defense and have been sound offensively as well as they are ranked 48th in total scoring. North Carolina comes in 7-1 overall after a big road win 26-19 at Pittsburgh in their last game. This game can go either way on the scoreboard but we do believe it will be an extremely close game and getting +8 points with the better team in our opinion who is looking for revenge is a no brainer bet. Take Duke +8 points on the spread.

Navy +8 over Memphis – The Navy Midshipmen are in the midst of an outstanding season as they come into week 10 play with a 6-1 overall record with their lone loss coming on the road at Notre Dame to a very good Fighting Irish team by a 41-24 score. This week Navy will look to make a statement against an undefeated 8-0 Memphis Tigers team that is having one of their best seasons in school history. The Tigers offense has been absolutely unstoppable this season so far and comes in ranked 4th in the nation in total scoring at 47.9 points per game. However, they might not be able to run away and hide this week against a Navy defense that has been very stout this season as they are ranked 26th in the nation in scoring defense only allowing 18.9 points per game. On the flip side, Navy’s offense is no slouch as they average 34 points per game and should be able to move the ball against a mediocre Memphis defense that has been exploited against good offenses this season despite being undefeated. We love Navy getting +8 points this week as not only should they cover but it won’t surprise us at all if they win outright.
